...Yeah, one more bomb like that and the ref would STILL be counting! (Rolls eyes).

Yeah I saw that as well. Joshua's eyes rolled up in his head, blood was dripping from every orofice, he lost consciousness, and then he puked. Then he asked for a time out. And the corrupt ref gave him time to recover and to clean up the mess. Amazing.

Did I actually watch this fight? I don't remember either fighter being close to being "hurt".

Right hook? What right hook, look at the slow mo after that round of that exchange Parker didn't even land a punch, Joshua wasn't hit he was ducking under Parker's shots. See time stamped vid of slo mo below, Parker doesn't land anything.

The second exchange the ref steps in because Parker did a Holyfield and headbutted Joshua before the left hook. Paulie says it was a headbutt left hook combo. The time stamped vid below clearly shows that.

The truth is that the referee would not allow them to fight each other, every time they would start to mix it up the referee would break them up! That made the fight very boring.............

There are no tears here to taste.

Joshua did enough to win courtesy of his security guard prohibiting Parker from working on the inside and landing clean shots.

He took full advantage of the assistance provided for him by Hearn. So I say fair play. I think most fighters if promised that they would recieve full protection in the ring against the oopponent, they'd take it.

Maybe there should be introduced a new offshoot boxing contest where the fighters can choose to ref their own fight or have the choice of selecting their own bodyguard in the ring who can step in and hold the opponent back if and when theit foe begins landing punches to face.

    Wouldn't that be great?

Of course the ref used the head clash card. The fact is Parker landed a swift left hook which registered on AJ and the ref gave him a way out.

This wasn't an isolated occurrance. How many times did we see the ref pull Parker away from AJ every time he got on the inside to set up a devastating combination? I say too many times.

The whole thing stank to high heaven.

And what of the crude elbows which sliced up the side of Parker's face which the referee didn't seem to have any issues with? Do you care to address that or are we determined to focus solely on phantom headbutts?

As for firing back when hurt that's the natural reaction of an aggressive fighter. Wlad hurt Joshua yet Joshua fought back.

The instincts kick in and sometimes the best form of defence in those situations is to attack. It doesn't negate the fact he was hurt. Sometimes a fighter gets hurt and they quickly recover other times they do not.

In the end the proof is in the pudding and I choose to go by video evidence rather than feelings or beliefs. Joshua stumbling forward after receiving that vicious body shot as if he was on the verge of collapsing shows Parker hurt him.
