Why didn't Vanes get his rematch against Jermello? Haymon could've arranged that in a heartbeat but he kept Vanes away from him. Vanes didn't even have a full camp for that fight and he was way lighter than Jermello, unlike when he fought Boo Boo where he weighed a full six pounds more than he did against Jermello. Everyone knows Jermello got Vanes ''at the worst time''

Its a **** fight that does nothing for GGG's resume and I won't be watching it, but this situation is not GGG's fault. If he fights saunders later in the year and win's the last belt no-one will care about this fight, it is what it is...

And still you pick Vanes by KO, so you think he's actually better as Canelo for instance.

He called out Haymon and Haymon stalled his career for that.

I'm sure I remember Vanes calling out a LHW or SMW world champion a while back. I can't recall who it was now.

There were several top fighters willing to step in. GGG and his GGGoons didn't think they generated enough money.

Vanes is a decent fighter but he isn't going to provide much of a challenge. It is also questionable whether or not Golovkin is allowed to fight a non-Canelo opponent at this time, considering that he has 2 active mandatories (Derevyanchenko and Charlo) right now. Moreover, if GGG tries to fight Canelo in September that is going to be very questionable too, since the whole division is going to be put on hold.

HBO didn't offer enough money to get Andrade or even Spike.

The only guy who can complain is Derevyanchenko, who Team GGG had no interest in fighting.
