Is Golovkin avoiding his IBF mandatory Sergiy Derevyanchenko?

    GGG fan here but he obviously thinks Derevyanchenko is high risk low reward, and would want a full 12 week camp in preparation for a hard fight like that. Team GGG should just come out and say it.

    Derevyanchenko refused the fight with Golovkin...............he can't make him fight! Even O'Sullivan refused, Saunders claims an injury, Charlo wants a cripple, etc.

    If Derevyanchenko is as good as everyone says he is, is it really fair to only allow GGG 4/5 weeks preperation for him?

    If GGG doesn't want to fight 5th may he should refuse imo, and target someone else june/july time.

    That was weeks ago..He's already had a fight lined up for months.

    True, but Saunders claims he has an injury, he cancelled the his fight and could not fight Golovkin on short notice. Golovkin has been trying to fight Saunders for years!!!
