Amateur and pro he is a magnificent fighter, unrivalled the success he's had with the amount of fights he's had ever. You have to start looking down the road of an elite atg if he comfortably outboxes Linares like I think he will. He's played with very good fighters. Anyone holding the Salido fight against him is being harsh, literally no pro experience in with a seasoned tough campaigner and was close to stopping him anyway at the end after being fouled repeatedly throughout the fight
I love the idea of this fight...it's one of the only fights in world boxing today at the top level that simply CANNOT be boring to watch. There's no hugging in this one, surely. Both guys are gonna come forward and attack, it'll be fireworks all the way through, can't wait.
Even if Lomachenko loses this and he falls apart we’ve seen one of the greatest runs ever of prime boxing skill. He has been prime Roy Jones level dominant, he has showcased a style of boxing perfection we haven’t seen before and influenced a generation of fighters with his moves and footwork. He is already iconic and an all time great, not to mention being the greatest amateur of all time. Any true boxing fan should just be trying to appreciate the once in a lifetime artistry that Lomachenko displays in the ring.
I think in the first five rounds Linares is gonna tear Loma's ass up but down the stretch Loma will prevail and only because Linares loops his punches when he starts to tire. I think that Linares have fought the better fighters by far but no fighters to compare with Loma. However, Loma has never fought a fighter of Linares caliber. Russell had skills but not the length and exposure of Linares. It will be a bruising battle because Loma has grit along with skills and he showed that in the Salido fight. Whatever happens, it will be fun to watch it unfold.
