He would have got Deontay out of there Their fight reminded me of Wilder vs Harold Sconeirs (18% ko ratio) On that fight scones (18% ko ratio) dropped wilder like a sack of ****, wilder got up legs a wobblin and managed to octopus for a good 60 seconds. Sconiers was a fat dude who gassed and then wilder took him out In both cases if these guys had just a bit more stamina wilder would have been knocked out
How the **** can he remind you of the Harold Sconiers match? No one has seen the Sconiers match. You know who you remind me of? baconmaker. Hmmmm
I do believe Ortiz 3/4 years ago had enough in the tank to take Wilder and I would've had him favourite against Joshua too
If Ortiz had continued to look to control the space between him and Wilder, he could have made it to the 12th. Ortiz abandoned the lead hand control and Wilder took advantage. Ortiz started to over commit to his jab and Wilder perfectly countered it.
How dare you compare a top tier Heavyweight talent like Luis Ortiz to some fat worthless bum journeyman. I can't stand AJ, but I would never tear down a fighter like Dillian Whyte or Dominic Breazeale, who while not P4P material, and far from unbeatable, they're solid 6-15 ranked guys, by comparing them to some fat sack of crap like Chauncey Welliver to earn idiotic propaganda points with moronic fanboys. And if you really do believe the garbage you write, find another sport to follow because you don't know **** about this one.
I don't agree with the last part. If Wilder actually had a decent jab (He didn't show one), he could've dealt with Ortiz comfortably. Klitschko v Povetkin is the perfect example of how to use that huge size advantage. Ortiz/Povetkin/Parker would have absolute wars between themselves, but shouldn't stand a chance against the big guys like Wlad/Fury/Joshua/Wilder.
I don't understand adding to a fighter if it isn't already there. Hes jab or lack of it, shows its head in every fight. Little fellas getting to close to him to easy. That's why I think Povetkin a couple of year ago quite possibly sparks Wilder
How would Wilder approach it though? Parker was nullified by AJ...... Would Wilder not attempt to control it?
Wilder has one shot in his locker, punch selection AJ's on another planet, delivery too. There would be far more chances v Wilder to land imo. The more I think the more I feel Parker has the chin, the movement and hooks coming in to stop Wilder. Wilder has the long right hand ko shot though, just needs to improve his jab and maybe the ko's come quicker
