Just rewatched the fight vs Joey Abell and my goodness, Fury was eating some heavy clean left hands there and as we know Abell is probably one of the hardest punching heavyweights out there but he wasn't even near to go down, he was caught and rocked but a knock down wasn't in sight.

A head full of granite instead of brains... I'd buy that in his case. But after Pajkic and USS we can all agree his chin is kinda soft.

Fury went down after two clean and big right hooks to the temple vs Pajkic/Cunningham. Those shots would have knocked down anyone out there if landed in the same way. It was weak defense for the moment but no chin/head issue at all. Both Cunningham and Pajkic have no KO power, but of course they can knock an opponent down if his defense is weak for a moment.

Crossed his feet, dropped his gloves and gave a fast little heavy a free go at his best shot. Got up at 6 on strong legs and was much more abashed than hurt. His senses were together, as can be seen in the calm with which he nullified Steve's attempts to follow up on his success.

Any super heavy can be sat down if hit with that kind of velocity from an up and over angle while he's squared up.

Those looking for sticks to beat Fury with made entirely too much of the handful of 'shaky moments' (Firtha, Pajkic, Cunningham) he endured in the years leading up to his shot at the HW championship. If anything, they were good for his development and uncovered high-quality survival instincts and composure while under attack (my contemporaneous position, which was subsequently validated).

Nope, he has gone almost 2.5 years without getting hit now.

Abell is a pretty useful southpaw, sort of c class guy that is capable of causing an upset.

The greatest myth about Fury is that he has a dodgy chin.

Fury is a tough as nails...He will DOMINATE AJ.

Emmanual Steward: "Tyson Fury has an innate toughness I don't see in other heavyweights"

BUT he has the best BODY AND HEAD MOVEMENT the HW division HAS EVER SEEN.

And his footwork is the best YOULL EVER SEE from a 6'8" 260 pound man.

So he is tougher than he gets credits for and a great defence. Good luck beating this man.

he is going to destroy all comers over the next 2 years. EASY WORK.
