    just some insight bro...

GBP were trying to get Spike in there since it would take some of the sting off yellows pullout

HBO was good with that, and while K2 were certainly entertaining other fighters, the proposals coming from every direction were being filtered accordingly.

If Dibella TRULY wanted the fight for DChenko, he would have published his proposals.
Instead, we ALL KNOW THE BUDGET and even Vanes is reconsidering the potential purse

Why are you squealing like a scalded swine about everything GGG? Nobody is happy with the Clenelo debacle but you seem to really be taking it personally. Maybe GGG has taken the script from mayweather and Ward? Maybe, just maybe, deep down in his sick, little twisted Kazakian heart he reads this forum and is just trolling you...now that would be funny ;)

Given Clemelo pulled out due to "things" not leaving much time to take a serious fight I would expect GGG to take a perceived soft touch.

    Next fight different story..

He's hoping GGG gets beat so that a deroided Clenelo doesn't have to fight him.

The question is what's the pay. If it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense. He should make at least as much as he made fighting Lemieux.

How can GGG duck if Canelo is banned from competing?

ggg ducking his mandatory which he obviously is doing, looking for any non middleweight that would not pose a ko risk. I could care less about Canelo, he's out the picture.

He can't be ducking a mandatory if he was scheduled to face Canelo.....

I want to give credence to the 'short notice' 'hes been training this whole time for Canelo' bit but I have a hard time doing that. Its not like Derev has had some full training camp with Golovkin as his focus.... they would both be taking the fight on short notice. Golovkin is a top tier p4p fighter who has had an elite level training camp under him going into this fight, regardless of who the opponent is, Derev would be at as much of a disadvantage as Golovkin would, if not moreso.

I dont want to underestimate the effects of training for a certain type of opponent during a training camp would be, as I am sure much of Golovkins sparring is with guys on the back foot looking to counter, but again, he would be fighting someone who would be at an equal or more of a disadvantage than Golovkin would be fighting with.... so idk.

I am supposed to think that Golovkin isnt ducking Derev when they are trying to find any corpse they can to fill this slot instead of fighting him just because G would only have a couple weeks to adjust? Idk...

But surely GGG has been sparring in prep for Canelo, whereas Derev will just be trying to get into his best shape?

Although not the best example as it's at heavyweight, but it's kinda like Joshua v Pulev/Takam.

Joshua was preparing for a totally different sized opponent.....
Whereas Takam is likely always going to face a much bigger guy.

Plus Derev knows his mandatory is likely, and whilst GGG does too, he's 100% focused on prep for Canelo.

Given the circumstances I think the majority of folk understand we’re lucky to be getting any sort of fight no?
Why is it you never give him credit for constantly conceding just about everything at the negotiating table against guys like Jacobs and Canelo?that there should tell you all you need to know about Golovkin.
