I think his career can one way or the other. Either he will become dominant, take the right fights at the right times and effectively build a good legacy, potentially remaining unbeaten if his career is guided cautiously. However, Gervonta Davis in my opinion seems way too unfocused outside of the ring, there just seems to be a element of Broner about him.

I think he will be broken mentally when the magic 0 goes from his record especially if hes brutalised the way Broner was or better yet, if hes made too quit by Lomachenko. The potential is there for sure, but will he take unnecessary risks like Broner took? Will he let the hype get too his head?

Can’t tell if this drama that’s going on is fake beef to get Gervontas name mentioned or genuine drama

If real Gervonta needs to learn not to bite the hand that feeds you..

If fake then clever really, he’s getting mentioned a lot and will raise attention to his fight

Regardless he’s a very good talent and can go very far if he stops getting into stuff outside of boxing. His team should be keeping him level headed and focused..

The path of Broner but i think he'll do better than him when it's all set and done.

I think the way of Broner. The whole Mayweather aspiration ruins them. It ruined Broner. The outside the ring mimicking of Money seems to be more important to them than thier fight careers. Tank’s awkward flamboyance in his last fight made the fight dull and irritating to watch, his performance was off cos he was to busy trying to look flash.

Floyd not only has the skills but he’s a smart clever guy with a sharp brain...something Broner doesn’t have and poor Tank has even less of..he comes across either mentally challenged or showing signs of early pugilistic dementia.

Right now Broner but if wants to be more like Mayweather then he needs to get away from Mayweather.

Mayweather is far too egotistical to be a promoter in my opinion, it's all about HIM.

This. If you don't mind being pulled around physically, and told what to say INFRONT of the camera's so everyone hears and get reduced to looking like you have learning difficulties, then Floyd's your man. He may have money behind him Mayweather, but as a promoter hes going to ruin boxers. Davis does look like he is a ****** though naturally

I actually have some doubts that Davis will even have the success that Broner has had.

I agree. Broner's an idiot, but he has an impressive career really, and imo could've maybe been seriously special if he wasn't such a twat

Damn crazy seeing this thread. Well lets analyse it now hes basically done and cashing out.

    - Zigzagged through his career cautiously. Was indeed way too unfocused outside the ring. Remained officially "unbeaten" but i still feel hes gone the Broner route.

I think that Tank has gone his own cowardly route. At least Broner tried testing himself he just wasn’t as good as he was hyped up to be. Floyd early in his career took on the best guys available. Tank has never done this he has never beaten the man at any weight class. I believe he had the talent to do it I had always favoured him over the likes of Haney, Teo and Shakur but he never fancied it himself. He never wanted it with Loma. I think the cherry picking has deterred him and made him worse I don’t think he will ever reach his full potential now. I think he could still crack Haney’s chin but Teo and Shakur would beat him now. If Loma came out of retirement I would even give him a shot at winning at his advanced age. He is a waste of talent who has no respect for his own fans.

Absolutely disgraceful and embarrassing that Gervonta, Haney, Teofimo and Shakur have not fought each other yet and all continue to be complete divas.

Yep 100% I have been saying this for a while now as well. How has not one combination of any of those guys not fought each other? They are all to blame one way or another.
