    Why is capped at 25,000?

    Just looking through the schedules

    Frank has got

    Frampton
    Conlan?
    Selby
    Flanagan/Fury
    BJS

    Eddie

    Khan
    Jacobs
    Bellew Haye
Josh Kelly / Ritson Newcastle card
    Potential Whyte - Pulev/Povetkin/Wilder

All in the next few months. On paper looks good for both but in reality only Whyte fight will be competitive, bellew Haye potentially and although not technically his the Smith - Ali fight is competitive.

Other than that we’re getting the wool pulled over our eyes. You could get better odds on AJ beating Parker than Frampton v donaire. Shelby schools Warrington, BJS v Murray isn’t worth discussing, Fury v a bum. Flanagan strolls to a title against hooker, Khan v a bum, Jacobs should be comfortable.

Basically the closest fight we’re going to see IMO is Dodd - Coyle! Or Smith - Ali. None of which seem to get a mention. Just these trash main events.

They are probably scared about the Cardiff boys coming down. Think most of the tickets have been sold through Leeds United to their fans - it probably won’t work out that way on the night but I think their trying to limit the chances of a blood bath.

Warren signs loads of fighters on short term deals. He's too stuck in the olden days to challenge Hearn but yeah it's good that he's giving it a go.

He only promotes Yarde and Dubois well from his prospects, Mark Heffron and Lewis Crocker are just as good yet they get no promotion, it's stupid that he's not giving them proper exposure.

Terry Flanagan for a world champion has a really low profile, Hearn would have him known at least 10 times more than that.

Makes sense, especially if they can all make a chunk of 25,000

LOL, Okolie chamberlain are 2 british level novice prospects and hearn sold more tickets for that than all of Flannagen's world title fights, degale and selby world title double header and all of BJS world title fights. And Hearn has promoted warrington for the majority of his carreer, hearn built him up, not warren. Same for Frampton, the mcguigans and a bit of hearn built him up, frank is signing these 2 after the previous promoters have built them up.
Look at any fighters that have been with warren from day 1 (BJS and Flannagen) and neither of these undefeated world champions sell out more than 5000 tickets.

There's lots of Matchroom boxers who came from elsewhere, so I'm not buying that argument.

My point was Hearn boasts about attendances, yet generally his cards (Joshua, Bellew, Brook aside) will do the same numbers as Warren's.

7,000 in the Copper Box is still same amount of 7,000 in the O2.

Plus there is no way if Warren promoted okolie v Chamberlain 8k tickets would be sold.

Khan on Saturday has done over 8k as well

exactly, khan on satuday and okolie chamberlain both did more tickets than any of BJS, Flannagen and liam smith's world title fights and the degale selby double header, nothing against those fighters but warren just hasn't promoted them properly

It's 99% down to the broadcasters they are with.
Sky is the place that markets to the casuals, Sky has the viewers, the football fans etc.

Ordinary fighters like Bellew would be unknown if Hearn was trying to sell him across BT / BoxNation.

Warren has done well to keep BN going but he's never going to overtake Matchroom unless he gets Sky, or BT overtakes Sky as the go-to place for casuals.

Warren and Hearn are just salesmen who package fights for broadcasters. It's the broadcasters who promote them to the masses.
Warren may well have some of his own money tied up in BN so I give him respect for that, that would old school entrepreneurism to some extent.
Hearn's just a manager and a face. He's no risk taker. He's done well too, of course. He's slick.

Anyone can promote AJ. He'll sell out regardless of promoter.

Bellew can sell out the O2 when it's with Haye.

The only non-AJ impressive Hearn attendance is probably Brook vs Spence.

So Bellew @ Goodison doing over 20k doesn't count?
