    Golovkin flew to UK to sign the contract with Eubank, but Eubank ran away. Golovkin has been trying to fight Saunders for years and so far Saunders has refused.................

    I mean, Saunders is injured now and has a fight with Murray in June so I'm not entirely sure how anyone is ducking him currently.

    Sack this Vanes fight off and push the date back of the fight so that the IBF mandatory can be done.

    Or, just fight an absolute scrub on the current date as a non-title fight to stay busy, then pursue the Sergei D fight.

    Although I honestly think he'd sooner be stripped than lose the Canelo rematch pay day in Sept. And that's dumb because you really think Canelo won't want a warm up fight before that? I think they'll make a decision as to what to do after the hearing today though.

    Very true, but that's changed now imo. He wants GGG as much as the next man now. Him swerving him has worked well for Billy

    FWIW I do think the Saunders fight was there to be made after the Canelo fight. But then he's ducking Canelo

    Easily? Can he? That assumes Murray will take step aside money. That assumes Frank has that money.

    I agree, no point in fighting a no hope fighter on May 5th (unless they have a proper fight lined up for July/Aug at least and they use this to stay active).

    Welcome back, by the way. That Groves L must have hurt but time is a wonderful healer (though an awful beautician)

    Murray is not a mandatory, Frank owns the contract. He pulls fights as he pleases all the time. Sure he could pull a swift one.

    The Groves L was very painful, I actually never watched a fight for 2 or 3 weeks after. Jr has a lot to make up for IMO, pretty much choked from the opening bell.

    I'm sure he could - at a cost - but all the same, I would it not be more logical for him to have that fight go through and then fight GGG after?

    So, that means no May 5 fight and pursebids coming up for Golovkin vs Derevyanchenko.
    Or maybe they scratch the Billy Joe vs Murray bout and go towards complete unification for all the belts. #UNDISPUTED160
