Yeah good luck to anybody stepping into the ring with Golovkin if their balance isn't on point 100% (and defense isn't tightly buttoned down, to exacerbate that) for a full three minutes bell to bell, every time. :deal:

Yeah because GGG's gonna throw caution to the wind and risk it all aggressively walking down one of the pound for pound biggest punchers in the sport.:dunno I think Kovalev should say **** it and move up to HW and walk down Wilder and Joshua.:ggg

Yeah because the only possible way to land a hurtful punch on somebody is to aggressively walk them down. :dunno Not like well-timed unseen counter-punches scoring on the button to score a KD or KO exist or anything, or as if the recent p4p #1 in the sport was fond of saying "if you make a mistake, you have to pay" as their personal in-ring motto. :ggg

Of course you can, but neither of them will fight that kind of match. GGG-Beterbiev would be a tactical affair, with neither one selling out and going all out for a KO, therefore never putting themselves in danger of something like that landing clean enough to do that type of KTFO6 damage. Granted they may try that tactic early, but once they get a taste of the others power, that strategy will quickly fly out of the window. Who knows, it might end up looking like AJ-Parker.

Heh, which to 90% of these goons would mean "the worst match of either one's career" but IMO would be a fun ride. (the same way Kasparov vs. Fischer sounds fun)

Hey, a lot of people on here thought GGG-Jacobs was terrible.:shakehead: I enjoyed every second of it, just like I enjoyed AJ-Parker, and sado-masochistically Trout-Lara.

Hell, forget the Jacobs fight, I've seen Golovkin vs. Canelo I referred to as having been a "snooze-fest". :dunno

    That should be permaban worthy.:deal:

Granted, we are the outliers. I actually enjoyed Saunders-Monroe Jr and Langford-Arnfield.

If somebody thinks Golovkin / Canelo was a snoozefest then I guess their idea of action involves axes, a chainsaw and flaming petrol.

That’s all good if he wants a fight with a scrub no problem, but he allowed golden boy to practically dictate his career and its kinda back firing.

What about Derevyanchenko, should he wait till next year to get his mandatory shot coz I think GGG will take the Canelo fight in September.

That scenario reminds me of Ward going to HW.

Kasparov, all the way. Fischer was good, but that was in the Classic section. New training methods, nutrition ... ;)
