    The WBC will not get Canelo get suspended without a fight it seems, and have chosen a "representative" for today's NSAC hearing. Seems unlikely he will be there in a passive manner only.
    I don't know if/why this even will be allowed because they they shouldn't even be involved in this.

    Edit: Alvarez got off lightly. 1 year reduced to 6 months

    IT may be all BS hearing.
    They may just ask ClenbuteNelo to bring sample of the Beef and have it examine to see the level of Clenbuterol then, wala - all ok to fight again ! :duh

    He will be suspended for six months only and the GGG rematch happens in September.

    They may as well tell us how clenelo is cleaning up the sport lofl

    Seems like clenelo as special needs or is used to getting preferential treatment
    He taking his mother along to I'm sure she can tell them the test were rigged and the real samples were robbed

    Update

    Canelo only got 1 year and that was immidiately reduced to 6 months for coöperation. Although he didn't appear in person.

    It does mean that he will get stripped of his only trinket left (the GBP Ring belt) though, and gets dropped from the 160lbs rankings.

    This wasn't a surprise to anyone quite frankly the US stand on drugs in boxing is notoriously weak. A 6 month ban for a boxer who only fights once every six months for the last 6 years is basically not a ban at all. Low point for boxing in general, a clear sign to sports fans doping is all good in boxing.
