BREAKING: Canelo Suspended For 6 Months

    "That was a quick hearing. The Nevada State Athletic Commission and Canelo Alvarez's team reached an adjudication agreement before Wednesday's hearing and it was adopted unanimously (5-0) by the commission: Canelo gets a one-year suspension, but because he has cooperated it is suspended to six months, as per the commission rules allow. He will eligible to fight Aug. 17, six months from the date of his first positive test. This means he can fight a rematch with middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin in September assuming GGG defeats substitute opponent Vanes Martirosyan on May 5." Dan Rafael

    Thoughts? So the rematch can still go ahead in Sept. lol, how convenient by the WBC (We Believe Canelo)

    All this did was postpone the fight 4 months? not much of a suspension.. I am glad. I don't want Canelo suspended, but this is not really a suspension..

    Can they overturn's Khan's KO loss to a Technical Decision in favour of Khan?

    it is amazing.. a one year suspension turns into a fight in Sept. 4 months after he would have fought.. How does one year turn into 4 months. I am not saying I wanted him suspended but the way the math works is odd.

    He cooperated? Didn’t he deny everything? I thought cooperation was giving up your dealer and things like that.
