    That's what I always thought. In boxing it probably means that if you don't make a scene and call them names or hit them straight in the face, you're coöperating.

    Is that because multiple boxing bodies were involved? the IBF didn't do anything did they? dirty cheats. They gave Peterson that title. corrupt as hell.

    I’m not that sure that the rematch happens in September. I can imagine GBP doesn’t really want this.

    Their reputation is already damaged a lot since September 16...

    and mccloskey gets to avenge being cheated
    and Barrera fight gets over turned

    It's because he wasn't caught by the standard DC commission testing for the first fight, but during camp for the scheduled rematch (which was then cancelled) as a result of the VADA testing protocol which Peterson ironically insisted upon. In the process of excusing himself for the positive test, Peterson seemed to suggest that he'd been using the same gear while preparing for the first fight, but that's not enough to overturn the result of a bout for which no positive test exists (see the Mosley-De La Hoya II/BALCO case, also).

    So basically the fight got pushed back to give Canelo
    an opportunity to take care of knee surgery and they
    fight in September............ *facepalm*
