Wilder is afraid of Povetkin, Haymon's WBC protected Wilder even after VADA cleared Povetkin. Wilder does not want to fight Joshua. Povetkin will train very hard for this fight, but in the UK we will see another referee interfering with the fight in favor of Joshua, the judges will be in favor of Joshua, however, Povetkin is a real threat to Joshua and could win the fight, not saying he will, but he has a better chance of beating Joshua than Wilder..................plus, Povetkin is a better fighter than Parker. If he were young, I would even favor Povetkin, but right not it's probably a 60 - 40 fight in favor of Joshua as he will have everything his way...............still, Povetkin is a fighter that Wilder had to cheat to keep from fighting..............

He was old even when Wilder had to face him. But since Wilder doesn't rate, we were all sure Povetkin would have splattered Wilder. AJ > Wilder. Joshua has to be favoured here, but Povetkin is still a very live underdog. I hope he tucks AJ up and puts him to sleep :deal:

So while Hearn was making fluff bogus to Wilder in public , he was really cutting a deal with Vetkin behind closed doors? Thought so. :cop:

But is a good fight so it doesn't really matter. Its better to fight Povetkin now before he fades out any further.

Yeah, that "New Povetkin" was back in 2015/early 2016. He has looked like **** since. And he is 38 now.

Some close sources from the bomb squad, told me Joshua begged Hearn to make this fight. He just didn't want to accept Deontay's most generous offer. It would be a pity if something were to happen to the bodybuilders precious titles.
Lol the devastating bronze bomber will be quick to collect those titles if Anthony does not meeting his mandatory obligations.

Vadim Kornilov: "Right now the negotiations have being initiated..."

'Initiated' negotiations... ie: he's sent an email.

Vadim Kornilov: "I think that within a week everything will be clear".... you've got a week to reply, Eddie.

A 38 year old post PEDs Povetkin is not so much of a threat.

AJ will looking for the same referee as he had for Parker, so Povetkin is not able to do any inside work.

AJ will just jab and hold and lean On assume. Povetkin to lacks the explosiveness he once had.

It's a good fight but not the fight most of us want. Povetkin is past prime and still a top 5 heavyweight, though I would of favoured Joshua over a prime Povetkin too.

Not surprising Hearn has been in talks with Rabinsky, the mandatory has been enforced and Hearn is on a set timescale to either make the Wilder fight or fight Povetkin. With it looking like Wilder and his team have gone into hiding, Joshua/Povetkin looks most likely at the moment.

That ref who refused to allow both men work inside will never be hired again , especially against Povetkin since Joshua will be at an advantage in close rather than at mid rage where he is more open to Povs right hand counters over the top.
AJ will take Povetkin apart on the inside with short hooks and uppercuts , and won't have to resort to any illegal bear hugging every 10 seconds..

Can't believe so many people are counting out Povetkin. His only loss was a UD to Klitschko, when Klitschko was in his Prime. He's learned from that loss, won 8 straight fights, overcame corrupt doping charges... He's got a solid chance to win.. What makes u think he can't land one of those shots on Joshua that he did on Price?

    Not believing a thing I'm reading about Joshua-Povetkin, Joshua-Wilder or Joshua-anybody else.

Negotiations are taking place. That's all we can be sure of.
