until a mega fight could be built between Joshua and Deontay. Each would stay active with defenses and let the smack talk continue. . . .When the Raiders Stadium in Las Vegas is completed in 2020 the Visitors and Convention Authority would fully get behind it and with the rest of the casinos would pay to fill the 70,000 seats and surpass any semblance of the Mayweather-Pacquiao record gate. . . The fighters could each make in excess of $50 million minimum.

In two years Wilder would be 34 so he would be declining.. He needs to strike now while he is in his prime and AJ is just starting to come into his..

    I didn't realise he currently is 32

Absolutely. The last thing we want to see is a repeat of the Mayeather-Pacquiao soap opera that stalled the fight beyond their primes.

Hate to tell ya guys but nothing in this world happens in this world that isnt planned. Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua were spotted exiting the Bohemian Grove meeting this year.

Wilder will already be 33 in October. In two years Wilder will be 35 while Joshua will barely be 31.

Joshua definitely has time on his side and could just wait Wilder out for 2-3 years, since Wilder's style is highly dependent on his speed and stamina, which are usually the first things to go.

Wilder could curb this ridiculous talk of taking a smaller percentage of the revenues and instead wait until Hearn/Joshua agree to a 50/50 split and hold the fight in Las Vegas where the money would be multiple times bigger for both champions.

Wilder does not want to fight Joshua, he is afraid! He knows he will get knocked out!

Also Joshua is likely to get better over that period. Two to three years, 8-10 more training camps, improved technique, more ring experience. He'd be hitting his peak as Wilder could be slipping from his.

It has to be in Wilder's best interests to take the fight sooner than later. Unless he doesn't rate his chances and in that case, then yes, let the thing marinate, bank two years revenue from fighting Haymon's specially selected chumps and then take the AJ fight as a cash out.

The danger of such a plan is one of them losing in the interim, neither of them look invincible at the moment.

Joshua commendable as it is, always seems to be looking for the big fights which means he'll continually fight the best, if not Wilder it will be Povetkin, then Fury later down the line, every fight is a risk of him losing.

Wilder if he can get Haymon to ensure he keeps fighting weak Haymon signed fighters will probably keep winning. But he was lucky Povetkin got caught doping and wasn't forced to face him, he was lucky his next mandatory was a pre-diabetic Stiverne who's idea of endurance training was eating as much as he could for as long as he could. Whyte is his next mandatory, the one after that if he wins might be tougher and I even think Breazeale is a dangerous fight for him. Wilder has struggled in several defences, he could easily be upset in the interim.

In the meantime if I were Haymon and Finkle to keep him busy I would keep matching Deontay with inexpensive opponents like Tony Bellew, Oscar Rivas, Agit Kabayel or Zhang Zhilei . . . .credible and even dangerous challenges. . . .Showcase Wilder on worldwide TV while continuing to talk about Joshua. I would counter Hearn's phony offers by offering him a higher but equal 50/50 split for a fight in Las Vegas.

Nobody in America cares about Deontay Wilder now, if for the next 2 years he carries on facing the crap he has been facing his whole career nobody in America is guna care about him then too. The networks have had enough of his poor opposition but the 1st time he steps it up against a jaded and faded Ortiz it all nearly ended for him.

This AJ Wilder fight will be absolutly massive in the UK but we already know that cuz every Joshua fight is massive. It could be massive in America too but Wilder needs to be something different to what he has been or he is just guna continue to be small time.

I m sorry but Haymon/Finkle have access to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and the casinos that can host have much deeper pockets than anything that Hearn can conjur up in the UK. More than that there are big U.S. tech companies that have entered the competitive live sports broadcasting arena. They are prepared to throw billions into various leagues and events.

Then why isn't Wilder raking in the big buck in Vegas if all it requires is Haymon and Finkel's connections?
