Without facing Joshua, Fury or becoming undisputed, will he be consigned to the boxing 'Dustbin of History'?

    What?

If Wilder goes 50-0 and makes 17 consecutive and successful defenses of the WBC title (which would put him fourth all-time behind Joe Louis, Larry Holmes and Wlad), will he go to the "dustbin?"

    UMMM ... NO.

And if Wilder never fights Joshua, that means Joshua never fights Wilder and Joshua never becomes undisputed, either.

And Joshua is sure as hell never getting to 50.

At this rate, you'll be lucky if Joshua fights 35 times. Hell, you'll be lucky if Joshua even wins 30 fights.

And it's not easy getting into a Hall of Fame with only 30 wins.

A lot easier with 50 wins and no losses and to be one of the most successful defending heavyweight champion in history.

So going 50-0, after facing David Price 50 times, would put a heavyweight in the HOF?

Isn't level of opposition taken into account?

Ask someone like Lorenzo Zanon, Alfredo Evangelista, Scott Frank, Lucien Rodriquez, Leroy Jones, Ossie Ocasio, Tex Cobb, Scott Ledoux, Renaldo Snipes, Marvis Frazier, Calvin Brock, Ray Austin, Francesco Pianeta, Alex Leapai, Tony Musto, Guz Dorazio, Red Burman, Nathan Mann or Jack Roper.

And didn't David Price flatten Anthony Joshua in sparring? (Since you guys love sparring stories so much.)

Nobody would care about it if 50-0 came from beating no name fighters.

If Wilders next 10 fights are against similar oppositon to his last 40 he will soon be forgotten as a past champion.

Wilder 50-0 will be the best p4p bumkiller in history!!!! The Ortiz win is the only blight on that record, but I have full confidence that Wilder will go back to fighting cab drivers and no hopers asap!

The irony... Ortiz a heart patient who only got cleared to fight hours before the bell.

Ortiz is a good win. Wilder resume is very soft outside of that win but credit where it is do. Joshua has the better resume. So does Fury so do does Povetkin.
Wilder if he gets to 50-0 will be remembered both positively and negatively. Depends if you are a fan or not of his.
ATG great status will probably allude him he is almost 33 he still has time to have very good career but he won’t amount to Wlad Ali Louis etc

Nah Ortiz is legit. Not saying he's GREAT, but he's solid, and you can see he has skills. Older than Noah? Maybe. Which is why Bumzquad needs to keep up the level of opponent. Nobody ever became elite off beating Ortiz.

Wilder: "Whyte is Joshua's leftovers and a bum"

Wilder ducks Whyte and then AJ to pencil in Brezeale for July.

Seriously, how can you defend this guy?

Could go 50-0 and become the biggest boxing joke champion, sure.
