God the amount of stupidity in your post is staggering.... There is no weight division called canelloweight any weight you weigh above 154 and below 160 is middleweight. Show me a weight division recognized by any commission that is called canelloweight. (There is no minimum weight so you cannot at fight at super welterweight or lower if you weigh more then 154 lbs. You need to learn what the F a weight division is.. go back to pretending you own a bunch of night clubs because you know **** about the sport you scrub.

Golovkin sells tickets, fans want to see him fight as he is a fan pleasing fighter. He will fight El Pollo again in Sept. which is the date El Pollo wanted in the first place, Nevada commission made sure he got that date. No punishment for El Pollo at all. Golovkin lost money..................will fight a tuneup, then fight El Pollo, Saunders.................

Where all fought at 155, which is at middleweight and they where all fights one after another up until he beat Smith at 154 then straight up to Super Middleweight.

So from 2014 up until now Canelo has had ONE FIGHT at 154.

The rest has been at middle and super middleweight.

 

Its not middle weight if you impose a catchweight that restricts the other guy from weighing in at the full MW limit.

155 wasn't known as 'Canelo weight' for nothin. If it was really a MW contest , then the opponent would've been allowed weigh in up to 160.

You willfully deny simple knowledge because you are noting but a stupid blinded fanboy salty over the fact Golovkins best opponent who he couldn't even beat is a 154 pounder who hasn't a single win at MW to his name.
FACT - Canelo is nothing at middle weight , had one fight EVER at 160 , and NEVER fought another middle in his entire career.
You can bring up his fight against non ranked 200 pound drained zombie Chavez if you want , but that would be typical behavior of a hive minded bum boy.

 

If you fight 5 consecutive fights at or within the 160 limit AND fight for a version of a title at 160 you are fighting as a middleweight which ever way you try and spin it.

The fact that he dragged a brittle, glass chinned welterweight up to 155 so he can get an impressive KO says everything about team Canelo.

155 is Caneloweight but Caneloweight is Middleweight.

 

155 would still be a catchweight even if he had 20 fights at that weight. It ceases to be middlewight when restrictions are put in place at weighting in beyond 155. It then becomes a catchweight. You can't / wont accept this simple fact so there's no point going any further. End of debate.
