What about people that want him to have a hard fight that isn't a money fight with a ped abuser

GGG is just another greedy A-Sider that wants to cherry pick opponents, he never made a real concession in his entire career and that's why his resume is so weak. Canelo gets my respect for actually taking the short side to make a big fight, ffs taking 10/90 and dropping 2lbs for Floyd is an almighty concession.
Taking 25/75 against Cotto who you are arguably a bigger star than is also a huge concession.
GGG's biggest concession was taking 57/43 against Jacobs lol, wow what a bold move. That proves you will risk a lot to make a big fight lol.

I just want him to fight Saunders tbh #allofthebelts, he wont have to worry about belts after that fight because he has zero chance. Way too old and slow footed, doesn't have the energy to keep Saunders honest.

Charlo is a legitimately strong challenger, if no Saunders then fighting Charlo would be excellent too
Derevyanchenko is good, Jacobs is very good, plenty of fights to be made that aren't a PED abuser or a washed up guy like Vanessa.

We've disagreed on GGG many times, so let's leave it there and agree to disagree.

I want to see GGG-Saunders more than any other fight at MW myself, and likewise have little interest in the Canelo rematch.

But GGG is simply after money which is why he's fighting Vanes and then probably Canelo.

I quite like Jermallo. Granted Triple GGG Golovkin would bash his brains in, but I find him pretty amusing and he could probably hang at lower Euro Class. He can't handle his hooch, though. Sometimes he gets way too lary when he's been hitting it and whenever I see him like that this scene immediately flashes through my mind.

And thats fair enough , but his legacy as an all timer takes a hit for avoiding the legacy defining fights when they were available. I don't give him much credit for putting his career on hold for Cenelo when its Canelo who is undertaking the greater challenge in those fights.
For GGG , Canelo is a big money fight without much risk.

Its also fair to hold him to the same exceptions he and all his fanboys had for the likes of Cotto , Martinez and Froch.
Golovkin likely made more money against Canelo than Martinez did in his all of his championship fights. All he wanted to do as an injured 40 year old man was was make the type of pay day against Cotto he was unable to ever make during his prime years before retiring.
He wouldn't have made half the pay day against Golovkin , but that didn't stop Golovtrds shamefully dragging his name through the mud by calling him ducker.
If GGG has haters its mainly due to his fanbase being more intolerable than pacsuns

I've always defended both Froch and Martinez, both had the right not to face Golovkin at that point.

Cotto held a belt up for a while, and to be honest I've never liked Cotto, so ...

One thing you will find, if somebody is a GGG hater, then 9 times out of 10 they tend too like Canelo. Thats just how it works its not a coincidence.

I like the greater Charlo. Lesser Charlo tends to run his mouth enough for the both of them. Kind of annoying.

Why's his face kinda lumped up? Did Centeno even land any punches?

Chris Eubank Jr is one of the best MWs of recent times.
GGG is one of the best in the history of the sport.
Think Charlos style is more suitable vs the likes of Alvarez, and Saunders, but for a guy off the front foot, he's awful wide and has too much body to defend vs GGG.

But yeah.... Mallo is A level and I hope he succeeds GGG as the top MW after GGG moves on

Fact is that Charlo's skills have already been established. He proved that at 154 where he was reigning champion. His size and his power are middleweight worthy. He don't have to go through a bunch of fighters to prove himself. He is ready for GGG and that title shot right now. Give it to him.

Heiland was the mando for a yr.
His body failed him after the Mack fight but he stepped up vs IBF LMW Champ Charlo in his first test of the weight.
Then, the former LMW Champ took a solid top 15type contender with a proper CV and decimated him.
We need to remember Mallows body of work at LMW when we start saying hes not making good enough fights get a mandatory.

Ppl are hailing DChenko as the biggest threat to GGG when his best Ws are vs a 45 y/o who's entire career as a top contender hinged on his legs and lower back and his fast twitch muscle.
After the CONSIDERABLE amount of pounding Soliman has absorbed over his last 6/7 fights, it's sickly clear his knees are shot, his back doesn't let him turn out from an awkward slip into a combination and his fast twitch muscle isn't allowing him to land in 5/6/7 punch combo.
He's shot to bits and should be used only as a gatekeeper while Johnson is a notable opponent, he's just a sturdier version of Centeno levels wise.

Charlo is FAR MORE PROVEN THAN DChenko as is Martirosyan for that matter
