Gervonta Davis was just unbelievable, I see him handling Loma like he did Cuellar.

Change your to thread Title and get some positive feedback from the forum.

Loma is head and shoulders above any version of Cuellar.

And while Davis power is gonna keep him no less than a live dog vs the best 130-140 lb fighters, he's not going to get Loma to walk into counters.

You do realize that inspite of Lomas crazy RTD/KO record with nothing but contenders on his CV, he's actually a defense minded fighter.

Would you think Davis could blast young Floyd, Marquez or Bud out?

Not saying he couldn't possibly beat them, but come on....these guys ALL STOP CUELLAR and Loma makes him wonder why he's bruised all over his face and ribs yet his hands haven't hit anything since the dressing room before he slumps in his corner and tells the ref he hurt his back can you please stop it

Of course he looks good against a C grade opponent who is winging wild telepgraphed punches and hasn’t fought in a long time.
With that said I think Davis is a good talent, at least as good as Floyd. Plus he has power and is more aggressive than Floyd, so he is better to watch.
I don’t think Davis could win a round against Lomachenko though. If Davis can continue to avoid Lomachenko and pick easy opponents at the right time then I think he could have a career like Floyd’s. He will have to mature though and develop a bit more of a personality.

In this fight Davis was better than I'd expected. Good for him and for boxing in general. It makes the potential fight against Loma more interesting.

I assume Loma has an iron chin as I heard he has never been dropped or certainly never Ko'd in over 400 amatuer fights. If Lomo had a glass chin I would give Davis a chance then but knowing how good his chin is Davis has no chance and will quit in 5-6 rounds

I think Davis is a better judge of range, has better punch variation, and has better accuracy than GRJ. I really would like to see him fight Lomachenko.

At this point, Floyd will not let Davis near a life-size picture of Loma.

Maybe in three or four years time.

Davis beats a complete bum, which makes him look good, but Lomachenko is not a bum and is faster, has better defense, better movement, balance than Tank any day. Void does not want Davis near him, Davis had his chance to fight Lomachenko and refused......................

Keep sleeping on Tank .He's very fast and he hits hard. Throw in he's young too.
I don't think he's even reached his prime yet.

Davis wants to fight Loma on PPV. That is a duck anyway you see it. Neither of them have a draw to have a fight be on PPV. It will flop and everyone knows, even Davis thus why he mentions the PPV. Only PPV worthy fighters right now are Canelo and AJ because of their followers. They could literally fight taxi drivers and would sell out an arena and do decent numbers on PPV.

Davis knows he will get humiliated by Loma that is why he is hesitant to fight him and would rather wait him out to fade so he can have a chance. Floyd knew this too but since they are beefing it seems Floyd wants to throw him to the wolves before Tank leaves to another promoter.

He doesn't hit hard enough to ruin anybody.

Tank-Loma would be an incredible fight. Anyone who claims either man would win with ease is talking directly out of their arse.

All that loading up, only going to see him him countered the hell out of against Lomachenko. He does have a bit of RJJ though, I agree, RJJ right now.

Lomachenko gives this kid a boxing lesson. When will fans learn, power & speed are only small physical tools to an art form. And Lomachenko is a master artist.

There is a massive in-ring and out-ring IQ difference between Loma and Davis.

Expect Loma to COMPLETELY neutralise Davis and take his heart.
