I keep reading that Canelo - GGG 2 is the biggest fight that can be made in boxing but is Lomachenko vs Pacquiao bigger ? Even though it shouldn't happen (Pac's age, what weight would it be at etc) people would still want to see it, the hype around Loma is through the roof with some Arum minded people already calling him 'The Greatest' and Pac is the biggest name there is now Floyd has retired. So which fight is bigger? http://www.ibtimes.com/manny-pacqui...-retiring-wants-vasyl-lomachenko-next-2673777
Clenelo v Spence at 154 That is the fight i would like Remember clenelo ain't really a mw or is he now And if so when did this become apparent
so who is the ww superstar number 1 go ahead tell me When have team clen boy made a statement they are here to get a grip on the mw division One fight where he called the shots and not even clarity on which weight division he is representing Spence v clen boy at 154 What don't you like about that fight lol
sadly that's not how it works in boxing, the most talented don't always make for the biggest fights, that's why Floyd vs Pro debut opponent is the second biggest PPV of all time
Wait, wait, wait! You are just lumping everything together here. There are no superstars at 147. Spence had huge ratings for the Bundu fight and Thurman did really well with Garcia and Porter. Overall, Thurman has been around longer than Spence and he has had more exposure. What does Canelo "making a statement" have to do with him being a MW? Alvarez has made 154 only once since 2013. His last 2 fights were at 160 or above and he was scheduled to meet Golovkin at 160 again. And i never said i didn't like the fight: Spence vs Canelo that is. But it most definitely wouldn't happen at 154 and it certainly isn't the biggest fight in boxing.
Clen boy fought Smith for the 154 title whereas the statement this is now behind us and we are a 160 fighter full time I'm waiting Yes floating inbetween with the help of clen So your around longer it puts you higher in the superstar stakes gtfoh 147 it is then eh As up to twelve Fifteen months ago clen boy weren't no mw so said himself and his team
Like i said, he has only made 154 once since 2013. And he immediately moved up to 160. It would be impressive if he moved back down. He doesn't have make a statement. He had scheduled 3 consecutive fights at 160 or above. Thurman being around longer means he has had more exposure. Thurman-Garcia peaked at 5.1m Thurman-Porter did 3.1m Thurman-Collazo peaked at 1.1 Thurman-Guerrero stands at 4.2 Those are Thurmans big fights. Meanwhile Spence has had Bundu at 6m, Algieri at 1.2m, Spence at 700k and Brook was PPV for which i cant find the numbers. Thurman has had more airtime and has proven to big a bigger draw. This has to do with him being around on big stages for a while now AND he has had the opportunity to fight other stars of the division. Guys with fanbases and name recognition.
Numbers are for accountants pal styles reach Boxing acumen strategies everyone's are different This is what makes great fights you really believe Thurman would give clen boy more trouble than Spence i won't saying that as Spence is streets ahead just his frame would hang with clen boy more than Keith imo Keith v Spence though I would settle for Spence telling Keith he want it and Keith is all quite and I'm a Thurman fan
Pacs shot to shyte pal Ones on the way in as the other as a form in him Honestly Fights like that gives boxing a bad name Linares Lomo is a much more meaningful fight imo
The word biggest, on it's own, is virtually meaningless. What measure of big are you taking about here? Biggest money spinner? The fight people most want to see? The most significant fight out there? Which???
