Wilder is a semi skilled tall and skinny guy who can hit.

Super heavies to me are 6'3" or taller, 78" reach or more and over 225 pounds. You need to go 3-3. Wilder is 2-3.

You've brainwashed yourself into believing that a stone or two in weight makes a difference. Marciano had one of the best chins ever and had an incredibly strong core built from tremendous amounts of sparring, running, calisthenics and strength training. Marciano is as a heavyweight with heavyweight measurements, if he stops training he baloons to 250lbs easily, if Marciano was weighing in against Joshua you would see for yourself. Joshuas extra weight on fight night is less natural and more for show, manufactured by pumping weights and taking all kinds of shakes and supplements.

Take a look at these measurements.

    Rocky Marciano
    weight -190lb
    Height - 5'11
    Reach - 68
    Chest - 39
    Waist - 33
    Biceps - 15
    Neck - 17
    Wrist - 7 1/2
    Calf - 15
    Thigh - 22

    Anthony Joshua
    weight - 240lb
    Height -6'6
    Reach - 82
    Chest - 47
    Waist - 36
    Biceps - 17
    Neck - 16
    wrist - 6
    Calf - 17
    Thigh -27

Wilder weighed in 228 against Spilka, 226 against arreola, 229 against Duhappas, 229 against Molina....his weight fluctuates

But he is absolutely a super heavyweight

He’s 6’7 tall, has an 83 inch reach, and has weighed in 4 times in title fights above 225

Well I suppose he made the weight, but a skilled super heavyweight he is not. More like a semi skilled super heavyweight who can be out boxed by smaller non top ten talents.

Rocky has a puncher's chance, but geez look at the #'s, we are talking about the jump in a few weight classes.

6'6" vs 5'11". A SEVEN INCH height advantage
82" reach vs. 68" reach. A FOURTEEN INCH reach advantage
    240 vs. 190 pounds. A 50 pound weight advantage.

Fury is good enough for today and that’s fine. I like the guy. I can’t knock the guy. In fact I believe he deserves more respect than Joshua and that he gets a very bad press by comparison.

But come on, any big man pre 1970? That includes Liston. That includes Ali. That includes Joe Frazier. Joe Louis. Jack Dempsey. Rocky Marciano.

Based on what exactly? Steve Cunningham nearly killed him. John Mcdermott was robbed against him. What other great fighter pre 1970 gets flattened by Cunningham or outboxed by McDermott at similar stages of their career?

Joshua doesn't really use his height and reach properly, he's not a boxer he's a puncher, he would stand there and fight Marciano inside and that makes Joshuas height and reach a disadvantage.

Name me one smaller non top ten talent who can beat Wilder? Let’s hear it

Wilder just knocked out that juice head Ortiz. The other juice head PEDetkin, is afraid of wilders power.

The best heavyweight is smallish guy, but he can crack and hes tall, but realistically hes the same weight as Holyfield and Tyson.

The first Big monster from the Olympics was 6"5 Teofilio Stevenson but he was not allowed to turn pro, with the right training I think he could have been an excellent pro if he could maintain conditioning in America. Foreman was the first Superheavyweight before that, Then we Had Lennox, then Vlad & Vitali now Joshua, I do think they used there size & weight well and had other talents. The huge amateur experience against big men helped them in the pro's but Vlad was stopped & dropped and Lewis Ko'd, Joshua KO'd in the amateurs by a smaller guy so they all could be KO'd. I do think because of weight training & height we should create a Super heavyweight division over 225 lbs and under, eventually guys will have to be in condition to compete & the supers vs Heavys could eventually compete

Any big man pre 1970 at least 6’4 and above 220....carnera, willard, Fulton, dunkhorst, hoff, Wepner, they all get destroyed

Also Dempsey Marcianos Frazier stand no chance at beating at 2015 Tyson fury. They wouldn’t even land a hard punch on him. Too much height reach and range combined with elite handspeed and movement
