Overrated. He can outbox Lem over 12 rounds, maybe discourage him and stop him late. Charlo we don't know about but we may get lucky and find out this year. I can't call that one.
Excellent win by Jacobs, he went right to Kid Chocolate & took him out and fought tough vs GGG losing a close UD, Jacobs vs Alvarez would be intersesting, Charlo would be a fight to see, he beats Lem
Considering he pretty much ended Quillin's career in a couple minutes , it's pretty damn impressive. I wasn't a Kid Chocolate fanboy or anything, but you had to give him top 5 status at the weight even if you didn't like him
Moot point because Quillin blatantly ducked GGG. Even if they had fought, I don’t think GGG would have blasted him out of there in the first. Quillin would have been FAR more cautious and would’ve gotten broken down and stopped in the 3rd or 4th, but not much further. Let’s face it, that was a pretty weird sequence and both start throwing recklessly and Quillin got caught worse. Nice win for Jacobs but it wasn’t exactly by design. He could’ve gotten stopped just as easily.
Everybody was saying GGG was avoiding Quillin at the time. Now that Jacobs > Quillin and GGG > Jacobs, poor ol' PQ is a nobody. Welcome to ESB, folks.
No the proven fact is that Golovkin tried to get Quillin to fight him for a very long time. Golovkin would have knocked Quillin out and Quillin knew it.....................Pirog sure knocked Jacobs out!
