Golovkin should give up the money fights because of the mandatories?

Cut the crap james. 3g has been out of the ring for much too long. He didn't screw up, canelo did. No reason for 3G to move his fight date just because some fools think he some obligation to face the very toughest available opponent.

You DO realise that PEDnelo and Saunders are harder fights than SD, right? And GGG has just fought Clenelo and Jacobs back to back.

Jacobs beat GGG IMO, clearly by a few rounds. However that was over 12 months ago, GGG has been inactive because he has been chasing the money!!!! GGG has had 1 fight in over 12 months, and has been dodging tough fights to get Canelo pay days!!!! The only reason he is fighting Vanessa is a tune up for Canelo?


Billy is my 1st choice for GGG but he isn't GGG's mandatory, GGG can't be forced to fight him.

IBF is the next defence in GGG's mandatory rotation, not WBC, not WBA

GGG is overdue a fight with SD, SD is also ageing by the day. Needs to get his shot ASAP, can't wait forever.

GGG was supposed to fight Derevyanchenko BEFORE Clenelo, but IBF gave GGG an exemption to take the fight stating some BS about its importance to the division. Now he isn't fighting Clenelo he should fight his mandatory simple as that, no exemptions given for a joke fight with Vanessa.

 

I don't think Derevyanchenko is the toughest fight available by any means. BJS, Charlo, Jacobs 2 are clearly tougher fights IMO. Canelo is probably a harder fight as well, especially given the dubious judging that we know will happen!!!

That is because Golovkin harped on about how he didn't care for the big pay days, and that all he cared for was the belts - "I just want the belts, that is my aim". Mayweather on the other hand, he told us it was all about the money - even going so far as nicknaming himself "money". Big difference.

 

There will be an exception if Golovkin fights El Pollo and Saunders next, then he will have to fight his mandatories, unless the boxing orgs can make more money off a rubber fight with El Pollo! After El Pollo and Saunders he will probably fight Charlo, but Charlo should be made to fight a legit opponent to get the title fight, how in the hell does beating a cripple make you mandatory? There is more than one mandatory coming up, but Golovkin can't fight more than one at a time.......................I suggest Charlo and Jocobs fight, the winner to become mandatory..................no more cripples for Charlo, no more Pee Wee Hermans........................hell, Vanes would have knocked them both out easily..................
