It's what GGG has been doing throughout his entire career which is why he receives so much hate even though he is the most humble and classy man in the sport.

You line them up, he knocks them down. The problem has always been that many have been hesitant to step in that line. Biding their time until he approaches old age.

I have watched boxing for many many years and I've never seen a fighter ignite such fear. Not even Mike Tyson can compare.

When Canelo is sabotaging the timing of his own cycle, in order to ensure he gets himself caught and suspended just so he doesn't have to get in the same ring with him again, it tells you something.

Indeed, I don't see GGG getting punched out of a ring by a construction worker to be fair

My dudes, this is fine. I think 160 is a better division personally (now, at least) and I'm sure most would agree.

That was in his younger days when the division there were names in the higher divisions.

He tried his best to secure fights with Mayweather, Froch, Ward and they wanted nothing to do with him.

3G is right, why should he go to SMW. He isnt a big guy anyway, and some of the SMWs are very big.

He has a right to pick his career tha way he wants.

That said, if he moved up and matched the number one SMW it would help make him a HoFer, and prove him elite, in, just as Canelo proved himself elite by matching 3G. That is one lesson 3G could take from Clenelo.
..but in this is another issue - there is no real number one SMW to face.

People shouldnt argue with his record, a now 4 year title reign, becoming pretty much undisputed during this time, and a solid 8 defence streak should be enough for anyone.

It was more manly of him to seek out titles two weight classes higher.

hopkins is the exception though, not the rule. 39 years old with 20 defences, bit freaky. noones realistically coming close to that in a while.

rather you should look at the average for mw champs, most of them, even the best, were winding down from title fights by 36/37.

that's way oversimplifying things. hopkins was killing himself to make 160 by his own admission and then went with mackie shilstone to help him move up the right and way and he has also said it was crazy that hopkins was still fighting at 160. combined with the fact that hopkins, regardless of what you think about his fighting style or him personally, is a genetic freak...then yeah that's way oversimplifying it.

He's a truly natural middleweight, not even big for his division.

I couldn't see the risk/reward being worth it, for now.

What 'SAME FOOLS'? Give names, other wise that means jack.

He didn't chase Mayweather. He was simply asked about him. And gave an answer that everyone near floyd's weight would give, that being "yes, i'd fight him."

Are you pissed that Andre Ward said he'd fight Floyd as well? Did you give Ward crap for calling out guys divisions below? Doubtful....
