How serious of a threat is Jermall Charlo for GGG?

My gut feeling is that Charlo would beat Golovkin, Jacobs, and Saunders. He's young, undefeated and hungry. He doesn't seem skittish like Jacobs has seemed since Pirog blessed him.

GGG's resume is not stellar and Charlo has the skills to beat every fighter that GGG has fought.

If Golovkin were to have destroyed Charlo’s opponents in the same manner he’d be called an overhyped euro bum that actually needs to fight a couple of top 5-10 guys before we dare say he’s ready for the championship.
There’s a new dynamic in this era of boxing that is based upon maintaining an undefeated record, calling out and negotiating fights via social media and contenders avoiding other contenders while jockeying for the biggest money fight. On the one hand I get it, but on the other it’s lame. Guys like Charlo, Clenelo and Jacobs are like Clark Kent and Superman - you never see them in the same room at the same time.
None of the challengers are willing to fight one another for fear of losing their place in the pecking order. Danny Jacobs seems like a nice guy but the reality is that he’s known only for 3 fights: getting iced by Pirog, icing Quillen and not getting knocked out by GGG. And yet somehow he’s regarded as this middleweight beast.

I like Charlo and he is looking excellent at 160.
He would give GGG a difficult night with his speed; movement and over all using his natural athleticism.
Look forward to seeing Charlo step up in class with each new fight.
If he could fight GGG right now without waiting his turn I would say 65/35 in favor of a GGG win. Now if we move the time line to 2019 after Charlo has faced more guys at 160 and GGG has gained more age it’s a 55/45 in favor of GGG

Jermall Charlo is just another Great Black hope Bum.
Soon we will be adding him to this list

Jeff Lacy ( the face of the 'great black hope' term , he was the new super middleweight Tyson, he was gonna be better than Tyson, he was the future PPV star, Calzaghe had no chance)
Adrien Broner ( he was the new Floyd, he was gonna be P4P number 1 for years)
Seth Mitchell ( he was DA TRUTH, and was gonna destroy Klitschko)
Danny Jacobs ( He was the best prospect in boxing and was gonna rule Middleweight for years )
Mike Jones (he was gonna beat Pacqauio and be the king of 147

Amir Imam ( he was the best prospect in boxing, 'the future of boxing'

    )
Chad Dawson ( he was gonna be the P4P number 1)
Eddie Chambers ( he gonna be the HW champ, and then later he was gonna take over the Cruiserweight division when he moved down he was gonna be too skilled and fast for all them euro cruisers lol)
    Lamont Peterson &
Anthony Peterson ( the Peterson Brothers were supposed to be special talents

It took GGG looking human against Brook for Jacobs (''he's getting exposed!'') to locate his plums, and even then GGG, who was very much the A side and sells out on the East and West coast, had to concede to fight him in his backyard, with an American ref and 3 American judges, and take a pay cut by agreeing to a 59/41 split IIRC which in no way, shape or form did Jacobs deserve at all. Then it took GGG looking human against Brook and Jacobs for Clenelo to locate his plums and even then he had to inject them full of Clenbuterol first to help find them. And how convenient is it that now that GGG has starting looking human you've got all these big ass LMWs deciding that it's finally time for them to move up and stop draining themselves to death on the scales lol.

The only question mark for me in a fight between GGG and Charlo is Charlo's chin.

Can't win in a war with GGG. Charlo would have to outbox him and run all night like Jacobs or Canelo.

    Fairly dangerous, imo.

This is one of the best fights to make at middleweight.

I see a few posts about nobody winning in a war with GGG. I actually think GGG would go down in a heap if he walked into a big punch from Charlo. GGG would need to show some caution in there.

GGG is 36, but Charlo looks a little frail to me to be messing with the MW monsters. A prime GGG sends him to the grave. Now he might be able to box and move his way to a decision, but I think even now GGG will cut off the ring and stop him.

Jacobs is too much for him as well. Too big, too strong.
