I don’t think we’ll see old man Ortiz fight again

If it means Wilder is fighting Breazeale; then no. No it will not, and rightfully so. Wilder/Breazeale has been in the pipeline since well before the Joshua/Parker fight and Wilder deserves every bit of criticism he gets for his rinse and repeat posturing. I, and pretty much every other rational critic of his (UtF, It's Ovah, BCS8 to name a few) gave him his dues for beating Ortiz but it doesn't excuse this fight, nor the six soft title defenses that preceded it.

This fight doesn't happen anyway. Whyte swerves it and takes his chances against Pulev, against whom he can probably get some iffy scorecards based on Pulev being very tentative nowadays. Whyte can't rob Ortiz if Ortiz knocks him TFO.

How is it a great match if it’s gonna be so one sided? Personally, I think it will be quite competitive. Though I would lean Ortiz. Probably never gonna happen though unfortunately.

Hey if AJ can fight a guy like Takam post Wlad match, then Wilder is entitled to beating an AJ leftover after his Ortiz match, let's see if he can outperform AJ, this is basically a stay busy fight for Wilder.

As far as Whyte-Pulev goes, I'm not entirely sure Dillian can even make it close enough to steal it. If even a partially motivated Pulev shows up, that might be enough to outclass Whyte so thoroughly they can't rob him. I wouldn't be disappointed if that match happens either.

Close fight, with the makings of being a war I think. Great fight to look forward to if it happens

As an Ortiz fan, its a great match, because it will showcase what a beast he is. And no it won't be competitive.

Ortiz is not the kind of guy that is easily dissuaded.

Many had Ortiz ahead before the end against Wilder but I think Whyte will score a clear win.
Whyte is an underrated boxer and I favour Whyte to win

Come now - after all the shite Wilder fans have been crying about Whyte being Joshua's 'bodyguard' Deontay is now trying to use the only live body on his flimsy CV as his own personal gatekeeper whilst he picks his own mandos.

Shitting all over their own rankings to take it up the ass from Haymon is pretty disgusting and shows how serious Team Wilder are about dragging out a fight with Joshua. Wilder's 25 managers have a lot less faith in him than he and his fans do.

PBC handlers seemingly don't have much faith in any of their talents, what else is new, Haymon and his crew aren't quite the wheelers and dealers that Hearn and his crew are. And... who gives a ****, the Breazeale match is a stay busy fight, nothing more. Wilder will fight AJ eventually. You guys need to quit taking this **** so seriously.

Explain me how Whyte can beat Ortiz.
Whyte is a featherfist compared to Wilder and Ortiz ate many of Wilders right hands and recovered well. Whyte won't be able to outbox Ortiz, he needs a Knockout and i can't see that. Whyte will go down for sure here, book it. If it happens i would bet my ****ing car on it.

I don't like fighters picking their mandos full stop. If Joshua was pulling this kind of **** you best believe I'd be on here calling him out on it. It annoyed me how quick they were to pick Pulev over Ortiz when arranging which mando he was going to take on first so for me this is some grade a bull****.

The least they could of done is order Whyte Breazeale as a final eliminator but they're terrified Whyte might win and then Team Wilder won't get an opponent they've personally selected.

My eyes glaze over when it comes to boxing politics to be honest, I'm never all that thrilled with most opponents that most fighters end up fighting. I get your frustrations, but this fight has been hot all of about 8 months, its not quite time to start May-Pac like, they're ducking, they're ducking type hysteria.... yet. If they haven't fought by the middle of 2019, then I'll start getting pissed.

I have a particular set of frustrations when it comes to Deontay as we've been waiting for him to step up for so long. Not all of that is his fault but the majority of it is and having finally stepped up to take on Ortiz I thought he may have had the stones to start calling the shots and get fights made.

Yeah I get that, but when I first read the Breazeale mandatory thing when I got on here, my mind automatically went to, Hey AJ, Wilder beat Breazeale more decisively than you did (and for stylistic reasons, he probably will), this fight just got more intriguing..... pay us more angle.
