How serious of a threat is Jermall Charlo for GGG?

Both Charlo and Murata are equally one-dimensional, but Charlo is more powerful. Charlo wins this fight.

 

Thats called adaptability , making adjustments and possessing a multi dimensional skill-set.

Its called boxing to a gameplan. He was never going to beat Golovkin walking right towards him dummy.

He knew about the power going in and planned his strategy accordingly. The fact he was never hurt once throughout the fight shows how successfully he delivered on his game plan.
Golovkin was reduced to a jab merchant. Canelo took all his other tools out of play because he was the superior ring general.
You can't win a fight just by throwing jabs. Canelo was hitting GGG with uppercut , hooks and body shots. Those punches are a lot harder to land than jabs on a guy whose being ultra defensive.

Supposedly that shot had no effect on Golovkin.. So why didn't he press the attack harder and more relentlessly knowing he couldn't be hurt? He stood there posturing and backing off because it did hurt him and he didn't want Nelo hitting him with any more of the type of shots that wins rounds.

A real Mexican warrior wouldn't have backed off half way across the ring every time he thought a punch was about to come at him.
GG was boxed into a defensive shell round after round and the offensive attack he was known for never showed up. Nor did this ATG ring cutting ability his fanboys claim he has.

 

It's called running and choking when the going gets tough.

He tried walking towards him in the initial rounds before he felt the power and started walking away from him. Dress it up how you like with nice sounding boxing terminology. It doesn't impress me, clown.

Canelo was hurt on a several occasions, which is why he went into his shell. Do you want to see video evidence of these instances where your boy is being beaten like small child that made the mistake of playing truant? Or do you wish to remain in fantasy land?

As for the jab mercent nonsense, if you understand anything about boxing, you would realise that jabs win championships. You can't claim a fighter is displaying ring generalship if they are getting out jabbed and allowing the other fighter to take centre ring and dictate the tempo. You should really learn to think before constructing your weak arguments.

GGG actually threw and landed more punches throughout the entire fight and they were not all jabs if you bothered to see the actual stats, moron. If Canelo didn't lose his balls he'd have stood his ground.

When did he back off pray tell? Canelo hit him with stacked gloves and steroids, and it never deterred GGG. Not once.

This is nonsense that doesn't really deserve a response. You are describing what Canelo done and applying it to GGG. If GGG had fought the fight Canelo did, you would rightly be calling him a roided cement welding coward

The unfortunate reality is when this fight does happen and Charlo knocks Murata silly, your post will be deeply buried, unable to be found. I'll stick by my prediction. I watched Murata take out a journeyman in unimpressive fashion a couple weeks ago in Tokyo. The guy basically laid down, wasn't hit with anything. And Murata was unable to do much damage up to that point. Murata is solid. I like him. I like his demeanor but Charlo will take him out, in dramatic fashion.

 

fight wont happen till late 2019 at the earliest. I dont think we ever see this fight.

 

I never bought into the idea that Jermall as even the slightest bit of threat to GGG. Didn't understand how anyone can fool themselves into thinking that otherwise. Please just feed Jermall to GGG already just so we can end another hype much like the other twin.
