Can Floyd hurt or drop Khan? Yes, surely. Its' hard to find a boxer who can't if he lands. And Floyd will land on Khan's chin.
Floyd and not close..Khan might have had success early as Floyd adjusts to the speed of having Khan throw his flurrys but eventually Floyed would get his timing down, find the holes to counter and then take Khan out. Floyed KO between 8-10 after giving up the first two or 3 rounds.
Slow starting economical Floyd would be behind after 4 rounds I guarantee it. I got zero hate for Floyd, well maybe his timing of fights grated me and retiring weirdly when it was hot kind of a little, but this is obviously a style thing. Why didn't he take the fight??? He asked us what fight next and it was a clear Khan next in the poll HE asked us. Floyd for years before he retired would've found it awkward with Khan. He doesn't have to be on Floyds level to cause major problems, it happens. Great fighters struggling with lesser fighters down to styles and timing in their careers. Floyd weren't a beast the last 10 years, he struggled with Maidana who Khan got the win over. How ever this fight panned out, i'm guessing Floyds ego takes a little dent from the not so sturdy Khan. Ahh btw, did you actually say Khan wasn't fast in general??? Ffs, that's his main attribute, he's blindingly fast against everyone you *****
You telling me the punches Prescott caught Khan with weren't perfect ? Khan was gung ho wide open and gave a fighter a perfect opportunity, they landed beautifully. Chins not his greatest asset but its not as serious an issue against Floyd as he boxes rather than looks for the KO repeatedly for years, even when its clear he can up a gear and take them out. I gotta go with the Floyd version that's fought at 147 for the last how many years that i've watched, safety first. He could always turn back the clock and come out differently and look to stop Khan, which i'm sure he could do, like he did at the lighter weights, but i'm not sure he would change for Khan at 147
I'm saying Prescott was not a huge puncher as his record after beating Khan shows. Floyd even at 147 punched hard enough to keep opponents honest. More than hard enough to shake Khan up.
What you fail to understand is that Maidana is a harder match up for PBF than Khan is. He's awkward throws a looping overhand right which can get over on PBF's shoulder roll and land on the temple he's dirty and he's a physical fighter who's stronger than PBF and hits harder than Khan and is more durable. A boxer puncher like Khan is a easy day's work for PBF for the reasons I mentioned earlier in the thread. Khan is fast but he's not faster than PBF. Just like people said Pac was faster than PBF to until they got in the ring. Khan wouldn't look fast against PBF the difference in speed and reflexes would be easy to see just like they were in PBF-Pac. Lastly PBF didn't fight Khan because he hadn't earned it, he was coming off loses and looked like **** against Diaz and got dropped yet again. Meanwhile Maianda had pulled off the upset of the year against Broner who was seen at that time as a rising star in the sport and PBF's little brother. PBF should have never done that poll it was stupid especially when you had casuals voting in it. The same poll was done here and Maidana won it, that right there tells you everything you need to know.
One thing is for sure khan wouldn't get knocked out by Mayweather LOL and that's nearly half the battle for khan Khan would be too fast and would dart in and out and Floyd wouldn't be able to handle the speed Khan only has issues with guys who can punch Floyd cant punch
You was the one who said maidana would lose easy vs Floyd before the fight LOL you also said broner would beat maidana so anything you say needs to be taken not seriously Khan is a bad style match up it happens in boxing some fighters just have other fighters numbers
I did because first I never thought Weeks would let Maidana foul and rough up PBF like he did and 2nd I never thought Maidana would cut PBF like he did early in their 1st fight which really bothered him because he doesn't get cuts. After he got over the cut he went to work. If he hadn't gotten cut early in that fight he would have had a much easier time with Maidana than he did. You said Pac would beat PBF and Kovalev would beat Ward so anything you say needs to be taken not seriously.
C'mon, Floyd fought some of Khans opponents, they were on the same level in terms of getting in the ring together, looked worse in some of them fights too. AGAIN, this isn't hate as you put it, its an opinion just like yours. Khans Achilles is punchers, Mayweather's, past a certain point in his career was speedsters and accumulation blatantly with his style. Its crystal clear a strict Khan against a 147 Mayweather creates problems
Styles. Loma outpoints Floyd @ 130/135. Prime Pacquiao KOs Floyd @ 147. Prime Khan outpoints Floyd @ 147.
