I know Haymon has a rep for throwing other people's money at things but putting up a 50m purse for two non us ppv fighters ppv debut seems utter madness to me.

Lucky it' not your money then!

Seriously though I agree with what somebody else posted. Haymon has his eye on a bigger prize surley.

Either way it' funny watching Hearn get shitted on and seeing these fanboys go into meltdown

I hope the offer is real. It just sounds too good to be true. I want to see the fight although I think Joshua gets Deontay out of there in 4.

It' one of those fights where either man could KO the other at anytime. Thats why the yanks will go big on it as it will put boxing back on the map there.

I make AJ the clear favourite though

Every opponent Wilder has had as champ as had success early. If Joshua does that then he closes the show.

I find it difficult to understand that the same people who are claiming Hearn's words in the media shouldn't be believed, consider Team Wilder's words to be gospel.

    The fact is this.....

Both teams were meant to meet on Wednesday.
    Haymon delayed until Friday.
Wilder made a personal offer to Hearn Thursday.

Team Wilder is so 'desperate' to make the fight they delay negotiations, then leak an 'offer' to the media.

Let's see. But it screams of Wilder trying to use Joshua's name again.

but hearns legit when he does it. he has the money and he is a promoter, wilder is a fighter with no money to offer.

Hearn is shitting himself that he might be cut out of the biggest fight in world boxing. They have literally made a great move imo. They can offer Joshua more than hearn can, its as simple as that.

    Hmmm ?
Fury has never lived in a Council house/Flat ...Joshua lived in a Council Flat & has bought the top floor of the flats for Him & his Mother...go figure

The Tale of the Tape so far

Hearn: "This fight will generate 100+ million dollars. I live and die by these figures. It makes sense to fight in the states. Wilder should sign with me, I'll triple his earnings"

    He never said that.

Wilder: "I won't sign with Hearn"

    Fair enough

Hearn: "This fight is not worth 100mil anymore, we've built something great here in the uk, it has to happen here"

We're the home of boxing, the fight has to take place here. "Anymore" is a lie btw.

DeontayWilder: "Whatever, I'll take anything, just give me the same percentage in the rematch and I'll fight"

Literally never said anything of the sort. Particularly the 'take anything' part!

AJ&Hearn: Doesn't send contract, or set date/location/judges ect. but says "we'll offer Wilder flat fee 12 mill 48 hours to respond''

    How do you know?

Wilder: "I don't want a flat fee, especially if it is so low and doesn't even specify any details. Why can't you just make it a percentage split like y'all did with Parker?"

He's been offered a percentage but for some demented reason thinks he deserves more than 50%.
AJ&Hearn: "Because Parker was less of a threat. If Wilder doesn't accept 12 mil, the biggest payday of his career, he's ducking and just we'll move on to Miller/Povetkin'!! If he offers us 50 mil, then we'll fight!!"

    Wilder: offers 50 mil

No time, date, judges, location etc or proof of funds.

Well it now seems clear Wilder's side had the Breazeale fight lined up all along (as if that should be a surprise to anyone). So Hearn's absolutely right not to have fallen for this obvious ruse. To do so, now that would've been getting played.

Ironically Breazeale's now in a great position to demand top dollar or walk away, leaving Wilder in the lurch. That would be amusing.
