"Until then, it would be non-productive to meet"... dont they have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow?

I think its quite likely that they are trying to save face after Eddie let the world know about them having already lined up Brazeale.

Eddie is in the US tryna smoke them out but they need to ensure that it looks like AJ n Hearn turned down the 50 mil.

If the offer is legit then AJ HAS to accept or its a duck, but lets be real how are they finding 50m & how must Wilder feel if they can pay AJ 50 but only get him 2-3 lol.

All in all, this is quite a clever move to control the narrative but surely they will end up with egg on their face.

Stupid Winkle, in attempting to disprove the notion of this being a publicity stunt, basically achieves the opposite. This whole thing is a farce. Silly one-upsmanship.

Simply a PR move trying to control the narrative.

What they don't seem to understand is AJ won't care.

Last week Hearn/AJ fanboys saying Wilder should accept 12.5 because it's his highest ever purse.

1 week later and the same people are making excuses for AJ to not take his highest payday!

How fickle fans work in boxing eh?

Who here claimed he shouldn't accept "his highest ever purse?" The doubts I've seen expressed have all been with regards to the validity and details of the offer. Bare in mind btw, no formal offer has even been made yet!!

Just try turning off your confirmation bias and think logically for a moment. Wilder's team are very acting erratically here.

So this is the total purse they are bidding, right? The $50 million they supposedly offer isn't just AJ's cut is it, it's the total purse both fighters would have to split?

Not at all. They have pulled off a power move. Hearn clearly wants control and the only way he can get that now is offer Wilder top money and work together. Literally have shitted on him and he knows it. Look.at that video. His whole language is reason why it won't happen

Haha Hearn saying he would sign the Charlo twins and pay them a lot more than they are earning right now.

Hearn was right across the board in that interview.

    1. The offer comes from Wilder, not the management. Wilder doesn’t have $50 million

    2. Venue?

    3. AJ obligations?

    4. Where are the details?

So... "they want an answer by 5pm today!!" What nonsense kind of offer/negotiation is this? What is the rush that it must be done by 5pm? Serious business people (serious people in general for that matter) do not behave in this way....unless that is, they are in fact unserious about the offer being made.

Is this what boxing has become. Fighters sending emails making offers to other fighters.

    Cmon it’s laughable

Is anybody actually reading this piece of rubbish?

"But it has to start with AJ accepting the offer" then look at the last bit, "Until then, it would be a non-productive to meet". Basically sign first or we don't meet.

That one line alone should set alarm bells ringing.

It is a blatant stunt, what moron would just sign for a fight without a meeting?

Honestly, who would just sign and get the full details AFTERWARDS?

If they offered Joshua $200 million and said they wouldn't meet until he signed I still wouldn't expect him to sign and the same if Hearn asked Wilder to sign before any meeting, full details and maybe even more negotiating.

It's a ridiculous thing to ask and they know like anybody with two brain cells knows you just don't sign, you don't get full details and a meeting after you sign.

    GTFO.

Yeah, it's total BS, Team Wilder have been exposed here, it's a joke offer with completely unrealistic expectations.
