He' not saying sign the contract hence why he says then we will get the fight made.

He wants then to accept the money. THEN you work out the details.

His "whole language" appears perfectly normal given the circumstances - absurd offer that appears to make no business sense on the face of it, no details provided, no formal offer sent, 5pm deadline, etc. The only natural response to that by any logical thinking business person is a big WTF??

But, Hearn will relinquish control no problem if this over the top offer is real and certain details are ironed out (Sky having UK broadcast rights is a big one for instance). If you've seen enough interviews with him in the past then you know he will not step in the way of his fighter performing on a show by a different promotion if they provide a superior offer. He's not daft FFS. Ultimately he knows that he's an employee of his fighters and that he cannot step in the way of them making more money without feeling repercussions (i.e. them leaving) down the line. If offer is real and (importantly) is fair in terms of the details, then it will happen for sure.

Unfortunately though today's revelations from Winkle and Hearn are pointing far more in the direction of this being a publicity stunt. Either way I think we'll have a more solid idea around this time tomorrow, assuming team Wilder actually go through with meeting Hearn

exactky people are looking at the $50 mil and think AJ should just agree no matter. Who cares what AJ could be signing himself up to.

This is not what smart people do. He needs to know more than just here is $50 mil

They have already said a guarantee of 50 million and they'd sign, it's already been said.

So if he doesn't want them to sign then he can just watch recent interviews where Joshua and Hearn have said they would fight Wilder for a guarantee of £50 million.

Team Wilder cancelled today's meeting, rearranged it for tomorrow, then instead of actually meeting Hearn and saying this face to face they sent this short email and said if you don't agree there is no point in meeting tomorrow.

They could have tried to thrash this out face to face and if Hearn was t having it then sure make whatever you like public, they know Hearn and AJ are not just going to agree to things in this type of way, what fighter in a fight of this size basically agrees a deal off the back of an email like that?

Or.. OK, so if Joshua takes to twitter and says "I will accept a guarantee of 50 million" that means they can meet tomorrow?

Yeah, Stop it, you know it's a ridiculous way to do business and even try to do a fight of this size.

This is beyond amateurish, it's no wonder Wilder is paid so little money.

The fact the offer came from wilder and not Finkel or Haymon says it all.

lol this whole thing is a joke
"yo accept this 50 million offer in 24 hours without seeing a contract"
    LOL
    nahh
This is a PR stunt so team Wilder can go fight Brazeale and claim to his fans "we tried to make the fight"
Of course, AJ team is to blame as well as they offer a 12.5 million flat fee for a fight that could possible hit 70 millio plus.

Hearn said the original email he got had spelling mistakes and it was so poor he thought it was a prank.

    These people are just embarrassing.

I still can't believe all the bull **** still being posted about this "offer"..

You guys realise both sides will be in on this and have both agreed how going forward to marinate this fight.. I'd go as far to say they have some sort of in principle agreement and now they are starting to promote it by this back and forward between the two camps...

This will lead no where and both parties will go off and do their own thing but it has the gullible slobbering over who ducked who..

This fight is going to happen but it won't be in the near term probs 2019 once they have drawn every ounce of blood out of it...

I am fascinated for this time tomorrow. By then we'll know for sure how serious/unserious this "offer" is.

If this really is the 'Biggest fight on the planet' and 'Deontay is desperate to Unify' show Hearn that you have the money.

Cancelling meetings with the only guy who can make this fight doesn't look good!

There's loads of negotiations to take place....

    Country?
    Venue?
    Tickets for friends/family/trainers etc etc?
    Press conferences?
    World tour?
    Broadcasters?

It's all well and good stating that 'Wilder has the choice of location and venue', but if you choose the US, how do you get Joshua to travel and do press conferences? He has $50,000,000....He doesn't care if PPV flops.

Either Finkel/Haymon are complete morons....Or it's currently just a publicity stunt. For all we know, the fight could already be arranged for summer 2019 and both sides are trying to build on a promotional angle.

Wilder v Joshua, Dibella v Hearn, US v UK etc....

It's a silly way to enter negotiations.
