All drug cheats need to be tested, whether their name is Canelo or anything else and the most important time to be testing drug cheats is in the period following their positive test result.

I agree that Clenelo’s performances have remained relatively the same. In his very first championship fight for the 154lb belt, he was contractually obligated to weigh in at 150lbs or under. He failed. It’s also worth pointing out that his opponent, Matthew Hatton, had never fought about 147 but was somehow approved to fight for the belt. Of course, nobody forgets the Caneloweight class. Or his dumping the belt to duck Golovkin. Or the ungodly scorecard that had him drawing with Floyd. Or the satanic scorecard that had him beating GGG 118/110. Or saying he needed a proper tune up fight at 160 to acclimate before fighting Golovkin - so he chose to drag up the iron chinned Khan from 147 to fight at 155. And then beating up the ghost of the corpse of poor JJC Jr at 164...after Chavez had been fighting at 175. And then there were multiple failed drug test for a PED that is highly sought for its fat burning qualities while maintaining muscle. Which coincided with him tweeting selfies of his ripped, shredded physique.
Yeah, he’s been consistent. Consistently fabricated, manipulative and the perpetual beneficiary of corruption.
I do believe that Manny and Floyd both doped, too.

Lol unfortunately you’re not joking are you?its the same nonsense that has some Canelo not reveal his fight night weight for good reason and that he’s different to the entire human kingdom in that he can just keep growing way past his twenties.....

Every member of VADA and USADA, especially those they send round to carry out the tests, should be subjected to the exact same testing protocol as the athletes they're testing. I know I'd be absolutely furious if I found out the person they sent round to test me was jacked on Ripped Fuel or a Clenbuterol addict.

@IsaL have you come to terms with the fact that Canelo is a drug cheat? Or you still think it's contaminated carne asada?

Dude Did you read the article........................ " We initiated the test to be as comprehensive as possible but knowing it's very difficult, according to the experts," Bennett said. "It's a difficult process to be able to confirm whether there is clenbuterol in the hair follicles, but I talked to (SMRTL president and laboratory director) Dr. (Michael) Eichner and he said they'd run the test even though it is even more difficult to run on light-colored hair. But we sent them the samples and the tests came back negative." ............................. They admitted th at the test was flawed and that it would be very difficult to determine if Clen was even present......... especially in light hair............. just another P.R stunt without any evidence that he was clean.. funny enough they wernt able to detect Clen when we know it was ingested and in his system for at least 3 days? ......................................................... Also Funny enough you notice it's from the same doctor they used for their original press release claiming contamination..... ....... And the same doctor Wilder used in the povetkin case who was later proven to be incorrect in his claims about meldonium when he was wilders expert witness for their court case................... I guess when you find someone who will bend their morals you stick with him.

Here is the quote by itself what shows that the test doesn't mean anything

We initiated the test to be as comprehensive as possible but knowing it's very difficult, according to the experts," Bennett said. "It's a difficult process to be able to confirm whether there is clenbuterol in the hair follicles, but I talked to (SMRTL president and laboratory director) Dr. (Michael) Eichner and he said they'd run the test even though it is even more difficult to run on light-colored hair. I like most boxing fans I usually give fighters the benefit of the doubt, I don't see why I should not just because it's Canelo.

How many posters on here were demanding Canelo provide a hair follicle test to prove he's clean? He provides it, it comes back negative but now hair follicle testing is unreliable?? lol nothing's ever good enough to some of you Canelo haters is it?

Most boxing fans give fighters the benefit of the doubt when they test positive???

You cannot possibly be serious :ohno

Maybe in the fantasy world you live in they do. But that's not what happens in the real world.

You can't have it both ways. Either you want him to be suspended or you don't. Now that he was suspended, you're complaining that he's not being tested.

It sounds like you'd rather he didn't get suspended so he could remain fully enrolled in the testing program. Unfortunately Golovkin's lawyer sent Bob Bennett a letter requesting that Canelo be suspended. (even though there's no precedent for since it was most likely due to meat contamination) So Golovkin's team apparently has enough pull to get Canelo suspended, even though Bob Bennett supposedly is in the tank for Canelo and since he's in the conspiracy of protecting Canelo there was supposedly no way that Canelo would get suspended. Canelo gets punished for something that most likely wasn't even his fault, like what you were lobbying for, and now you're upset about that?

He gets his hair follicle tested, like many of your haters were demanding he needed to do to prove he's clean. He does that, but now that's suddenly unreliable. The Fight of the Year gets cancelled, Canelo gets suspended for something that was most likely due to meat contamination, but somehow boxing is an embarrassment? I thought Boxing would have been an embarrassment if Canelo wasn't suspended and if the fight went ahead?

Canelo has been treated harshly, he should never have been suspended in the first place because all indications are that it was due to meat contamination. Which would have kept him being tested like you wanted, but no Golovkin and all his fan girls made a big stink about it and had enough pull to get Bob Bennett to suspend Canelo. It's an embarrassment for Canelo to have been treated so harshly for a big nothing burger.
