And now he has a green light to take what he likes for the next few months knowing he won't be tested. Is that a satisfactory way of handling someone who just tested positive twice? Of course it isn't.

Why the hell did this lab even conduct the tests if their particular test is unreliable?

But Isal makes a strong argument that if Canelo had indeed been using Clenbuterol for a period of time, he would most definitely not agreed to submit a hair sample to be tested.
Canelo did so willingly and is willing to go through stringent PED testing for his fights.

You would have to ask them that. But laboratories are businesses and provided someone is prepared to pay for a test they will conduct it.

All credibility for the result goes out the window when you read their comments though.

The truth is that El Pollo is rich, he can afford the very best organic beef, there is no excuse for his eating tainted meat, perhaps for a poor boxer, but not a rich one. Look what happened to Povetkin even after VADA cleared him? And now Povetkin was proven innocent................but he was still not allowed to fight Wilder...............and Ryabinskiy won the purse bid!!! I don't like the double standard..................

I thought undergoing a hair follicle test at the very least shows he has nothing to fear.

A hair follicle test isn't 100% reliable, bit it absolutely does not suggest it cannot detect PEDs on light colored hair.

If he was currently on a cycle as you suggest, and if he had just finished a cycle in February when he failed his tests, and if he had juiced at any time during the last year, no PED cheat would dare risk getting caught and taking that kind of test.

You also have to consider his three clean tests right before the two failed tests and his four clean tests right after.

Also, you're ignoring many points I've made in my other two posts, so I'm assuming you don't have a rebuttal and you're simply trolling or too stuborn to accept what is logical.

There's no question he has nothing to fear. He can do what he likes provided whatever he puts into his system has cleared by his next test which is likely to be in about August.

A lot of people are disappointed with this.

Hoping that test came back dirty. For someone who is supposed to be guilty Canelo sure ain't acting that way.

Again, if Canelo was a PED cheat, was currently using clen or any other PED, was using it in cycles for a substantial amount of time, why would he agree and willingly submit to a hair follicle test that may possibly expose wrong doing for a time frame of "six months or longer"?

You keep ignoring this point even cutting out of some quotes you've responded too.

You also ignore that Canelo tested clean for three random tests prior to February, and then four more clean tests following those tests. And that the two tests he failed had trace amounts of clenbeturol.

Many of his haters had a great time using this to bash Canelo, but I think your party is over. The deeper we look at all the facts and details the more it suggests their was no malicious intent.

Exactly! Testing clean right before and then right after the failed test would suggest that the trace amounts from the failed tests were from contaminated meat.
The hair follicle test whether reliable or not only serves to tilt the pendulum to the side of innocence of not using Clenbuterol as a form of PED.

Then why is he refusing to be drug tested right now?

And the act of accepting to take the hair follicle test and actually taking it suggest there is nothing to fear.

I have not read anywhere that he is refusing.

I think 3 clean tests prior, 4 clean tests after and clean hair follicle test suggests he is a clean boxer.
