Pathetic. All the proof you need that they never wanted the fight. The intentionally vague $50m offer was pure trolling.

    http://www.skysports.com/amp/boxing...rn-says-eddie-hearn?__twitter_impression=true

Speaking to Sky Sports News, he said: "It's all very bizarre. I returned the email of Deontay Wilder and said we are very interested in making this fight, please send us a draft contract.
    • "He replied and said 'you have to accept the fight and then we will send you the contract'. I've never known anything so bizarre since I've worked in boxing.

"I had a meeting with Shelly Finkel scheduled for Thursday, he cancelled that meeting. I requested a meeting for today (Friday) and he emailed me, while also emailing the entire press world, saying 'there is no point in meeting it would be non-productive - we have to accept the deal first.'

The $12.5M was cheeky, even borderline rude, but at least it actually ****ing existed. :risas3:

The entire team is contradicting themselves all over the place. They're a farcical bunch of omnishambles.

"People don't make a deal by sending e-mails to one another" - What, like Deontay did over Instagram?

"You make a deal by saying ""Hey we want the fight now, let's talk about it, let's look at all the terms and let's do something that's fair for everybody"" " - Like Hearn wanted to do in New York before you refused to meet him?

    Lol

What a failure by Wilder& his team.
They could've went and play hard ball.

I guess they had absolutely no proof of the 50 M. It was all a childish stunt " heres the 50M you asked take it " and shows a piece of cardboard with 50M drawn on it lol

With promoters like Haymon Oscar Arum etc No wonder boxing in America is just a niche sport

the whole episode is a pr stunt from both sides. neither is known for anything they have done in the ring, not in the states. this gets espn talking about a fight and fighters they would never mention otherwise.

I am LOVING this... It's all backfired so damn badly for Wilder's team.. Good man Eddie Hearn. They thought they had out-thought you, and it's backfired big time.

Now we know that all along it was Wilder who was ducking. They don't want it, and now the world knows they don't want it! They are bums, they are duckers and they are jokers. Pathetic.

Even Hagler got more that Leonard and Leonard was a superstar, how many 80.000 seater stadiums has Wilder sold out?im not saying it’s right but the A side thing is a part of boxing and I don’t remember such an underwhelming B side offer up the money for a fight, the very thought is just ridiculous lol

Usually a promoter has multiple fighters, not the other way around. Wonder if the dysfunction has something to do with all of Wilder's different "representatives" trying to get the best shake of things.

Wilders's team are as joke and this was clearly a poor pr stunt designed to get AJ to reject it and make him look bad. That didnt go to well for Wilder lol.

''WTF!? It wasn't a negotiation. Sending out something saying ''OK, here's our offer you have 10 days to respond'' is not the beginning of a negotiation. That's BS''

''People don't make a deal by sending emails to each other. You make a deal by saying we want the fight now, let's talk about it, let's look at all the terms and let's do something that's fair for everybody.''

It would be easier to negotiate a contract with the Chuckle Brothers who would be much more professional and intelligent than Runsquad and his motley crew.
