    I doubt this event was about making an real money. It was just to make some.
    And HBO dates are hard to come by. I doubt they will loose money. And HBO wont loose money if the ratings are bad. They have a set budget and if the ratings are bad, they might decrease the budget, but they wont take a loss.

    GBP has HBO and ESPN2. Thats not a lot to work with. So they have to make the best they can.

    Loma vs Linares was too big of a fight to pass up, and Linares pushed hard for it. So they kinda had to do it.
    And due to time zones, i dont think they will compete at all. Loma/Linares in New York and Ali/TBA is in California.
