Mate, you can’t honestly believe that Wilder is ‘‘scared’’ of AJ?

Whether you think he wins or loses Wilder is a fcuking bad dude in that ring and it’s pretty clear he could quite easily get there first with one of his massive shots or get taken out himself -it’s about 50/50.

As bizarre as the negotiations have been, all Hearn has got to do is respond with ‘’we accept the $50million dollar guarenatee in theory subject to a suitable contract and terms and conditions’’ Job done.

I’m pretty certain Hearn didn’t send over any terms and conditions for his offer of $12m.

The problem is, Hearn doesn’t want to
Do that as he’s scared about what’s going to come back. If Haymon wants to, we know he can generate that money then what? Hearn/AJ either have to accept and sign over control of the promotion or they reject it and face humiliation.

Hearn is hoping their bluffing, but he can’t be sure and has been shaken by the whole thing.

Hearn has already said he is interested in the offer but wants to see some substance to it. He is the one wanting to pursue the fight as he is the one making the effort to go to USA but Wilders team are just making it difficult.
Yes I do believe Wilder is scared. Maybe not directly scared of AJ but scared of losing his precious belt and people realising he is not the baddest man on the planet and just all talk. AJ would box him to victory and easily see these ridiculous windmill swings of Wilders.

How can you accept something you can’t see any details of? I know Eddie Hearn is full of **** and I think this offer has been made to try and expose him for that but it’s ended up blowing back in their face. The wilder camp look silly.

As for the fight Wilder is definitely a live candidate. He had 30-40% chance. He can KO Joshua but Joshua can easily out point him to a UD and Joshua can still KO him.

But for me this is the biggest fight in boxing and I have no doubt this does 100mil dollars in the US. Vegas and PPV. I think Eddie knows that too, that’s why he was reluctant to accept.

AJ’s a good boxer so i’m not disputing that. What I will say about Wilder though is that it is very difficult to telegraph those wild looping shots he throws. He is very unconventional and i’m not sure he really thinks a few steps ahead. He only launches himself at an opponent when he’s hurt them. He times his huge shots at the same time as his opponents throw theirs, which you can’t telegraph. So he’s very very dangerous when he’s actually under the cosh.

 

Mate, do you honestly think Hearn and Mccrakken etc are not concerned about AJ being taken out? If you don’t then you must be on cloud cuckoo land mate or smoking some really good stuff. This is a dangerous fight for both fighters and teams - they both have a lot to lose and both have the power to erase each other. Hearn is not in the US specifically to negotiate- he’s there promoting his show tonight.

You may think those windmills are silly, but there’s brutal power in Wilders shots 39 Kos/40 fights. There is also a method to his madness- he has a fast and accurate jab to set up the power shots, he’s agile and extremely awkward.
