Golovkin started out pro in his natural weightclass, he had NO intention to fight smaller men at the lower divisions and become a weight bully like The rest of them!

 

Again he was 169 at 8:00 am before an 11pm fight, so 175 is about right.

 

175 isn't 180 and he always says Golovkin is much larger than he is.

Most Natural Middleweight we have seen for some time....why would he want to change weights

 

I am saying he isn't 163lbs one week out, hes cut water weight to weight that much, no 160lb fighter is 3lbs over the limit a week out, My "guess" is his is in the 170's that doesn't mean hes 170 and only cutting 10lbs he could be high 170's , Nobody even knows for sure what his walk weight is. Hes not a big middle weight and hes not a small middle weight, he is a natural middle weight imo, Jacbos and bjj are big middle weights but that doesn't change the fact GGG is no way in hell 163lbs a week out like some people seem to think. 154lb fighters re heavier than that a week out.

We're not (Or at least I'm not) arguing that he's at 163 without cutting down. I'm saying that currently, one week away from the fight, based on the picture we have, that he is 163. This is what is known. Everything else is speculation. He likely DID his cut a bit early to make sure he can make it comfortably since people usually do that coming off of a layoff of fighting at a new weight class.

They have said his walking weight is in the low to mid 170s and his released fight night weights support that, but you're right about that being just a guess. He does appear to be that size though.
