Against the grain but Im picking Sulecki to beat Jacobs

If anyone looks at my post history they will be aware that I favoured Jacobs over Golovkin and Pirog over Jacobs.
This is a bit of a feeling post and I know how due to my excellent predictions many wont post on here until after

I got Jacobs UD, Sulecki looks slow to me and if Jacobs has anything it’s speed. Wouldn’t be surprised if he forced a stoppage.

He didnt look the quickest I agree but its a bit of a feeling more than anything else. I just think he may make things difficult and take over in the later part

I wasn't expecting this but if true it should increase Sulecki's chance of pulling it off.

NEW YORK – After Daniel Jacobs’ last two fights, the trainers of Gennady Golovkin and Luis Arias have claimed Jacobs owned a significant weight advantage during those bouts.

Maciej Sulecki isn’t the least bit concerned about Jacobs being bigger than him when the opening bell rings Saturday night at Barclays Center. Poland’s Sulecki, who’s slightly taller than Jacobs, expects to weigh more than Jacobs, at least 180 pounds, once their bout begins in Brooklyn.

“I’ll be bigger,” Sulecki said through a translator before a press conference Thursday in Manhattan. “Everybody that thought I’m small, no, I’m bigger than Jacobs. You’ll see in the ring that I’m bigger.”

Sulecki’s last three fights have been contested at or slightly above the super welterweight limit of 154 pounds. He has mostly fought at or around the middleweight limit of 160 during his seven-year pro career, though, even as high as the super middleweight limit of 168.

“I’m not concerned about [the weight],” Sulecki said. “Again, whatever. I look at me. I’m not looking at my opponent. He can fight at 180, 190 – whatever. I’ll be at a good weight. I’m looking at me, only at me.”

The 28-year-old Sulecki (26-0, 10 KOs) officially weighed in at 159.2 pounds Friday afternoon at Barclays Center. The 31-year-old Jacobs was 159.6 pounds when he stepped on the New York State Athletic Commission’s scale.

They’ll have approximately 33 hours from the time they weighed in until their bout begins to rehydrate and add weight.

Yes. I felt it was a close fight with some close rounds. I wasnt sure about giving Jacobs round 3 but due to how close it was swung it his way... Just
Cant see an issue with even rounds if you really cant split them. It wouldnt be right to award a round just to suit not scoring even rounds if you didnt think one deserved more than the other

You said he would lose. To be fair to you I had it 1 round to Jacobs because of the knockdown. The scorecards were awful, it was such a close fight, I think it even warrants a rematch to be honest.

I said I picked Sulecki and I felt he won. I picked Jacobs against Golovkin and felt Jacobs won
I felt Golovkin would have trouble with Jacobs and Jacobs with Sulecki and picked for Jacobs and Sulecki respectively which I think were the right picks. I also picked Pirog to beat Jacobs if you go through my post history
all picks were against the common opinion and odds and then after we have the experts who knew all along.

At the last minute I switched over to Sulecki as well, I've been thinking for the last month what a stylistic nightmare he could be for Danny. I scored it 114-113 for Jacobs with the KD making the difference, that being said, the 4th I could easily flip over, I was considering scoring it for Sulecki, and then it would be a win for him. But he had to KO Danny twice to get a fair decision here. He's in his hometown, has a touching backstory, is an HBO darling, is American, and is promoted by Eddie Hearn, that 5 things Maciej had going against him tonight, he never had a chance.

Sulecki could arguably have won but that knock down cost him for me. Jacobs definitely beat GGG for me even with GGGs knockdown. It weren’t a bad pick I’m not tryna say you was way off, but you were wrong.

But I’ll keep an eye out for your picks in the future.

I was impressed by Sulecki. He will be a tough operator for years to come. I have it even, but understand why they gave it to Jacobs. He earned a rematch.

Btw. I had Golovkin winning against Jacobs at least by two rounds.
