A couple of years back my mate said to me haye was the number 1 at heavy.. I still laugh about that silly statement to this day...
Was excellent at cruiser less effective at HW.Part of his problem is that as he ages he has not changed his stile still trying to fight like a young man but his speed and reflexes have slowed plus his buzzy high speed pot shoting seem.to lead to him getting constant injuries in training and in fights. Not much left I think
Haye rocked Wilder badly in 2013 and made him look clumsy during sparring and had faster than Ortiz did during his luke warm display v Wilder, I`lll paste Haye rocking Wilder on here.
One ****ed up post this is. Not good enough to see the 12th v Bellew????, what with one leg totally gone...Bellew couldn't even take total advantage of the situation he is that ****. Haye had the problem before the fight, only a dickhead wouldn't see it for what it is.
Mentally not the most confident in the ring i think he can be intimidated (fury intimidated him), not a complete fighter his boxing IQ was pretty low, his Athleticism was off the charts, brutal power in spadefuls, his stamina wasnt top notch either but it wasnt bad he could do 12 rounds comfortably and carry his power throughout. When he threw his combo's he was often off balance, and a good quick disciplined boxer could pick him apart, he never fought a top level boxer other than klitchko who was too big anyway. Uysk would have took him to school in my opinion. Spinks would of had a field day. Holyfield would have stopped mid rounds. Haye is a considered a h2h top cruiserweight but many would have beat him. Bellew beat him through being disciplined but of course there was luck involved, haye still looked out of ideas early on. My fellow countryman on ESB adore Haye, Dont ask me why.
hes been good in the past at times but this comeback, totally hopeless and hes on ppv!! how any1 buys a haye ppv is mindboggling, especially after that vlad performance, its all downhill since then too and he still gets buyers huh
You can't make a judgement based on 5 seconds of footage. Haye didn't feel confidant enough to even show a minute of sparring , let alone a round. Dave Coldwell came out and confirmed that Wilder was never hurt during the session. Wilder would beat Haye like he beat Stiverne.
Wilder was rocked here though you can see that and he`s wide open and off balance a flaw he often still shows.
This content is protected Haye doesn`t know how to train properly, he`s got a crap team around him, AJ`s training is far more expert.
LOL! Agreed. I Got to give him credit for talking his way into a HW title fight, bunion-toe and all. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/punch-stats-for-haye-valuev.182806/ Love his stats against Valuev 98 landed whole fight. This thread seemed impress with the connect rate as opposed to the workrate. https://www.*******.com/forums/view.php?pg=klitschko-haye-compubox Is credited with landing 72 agains Wlad. Even if we threw him a bone, with meat on it and spot him 20 punches....these two fights were for the HW championship. Add both together and he couldn't land 200 punches in 2 of his biggest opportunities to say he's the man? He over rated himself. Nothing he's ever done was impressive. Every win he had...was he the under dog...
Very overrated; skills, resume, and H2H. Good few consecutive fights to unify at Cruiserweight, for sure.
