Crawford's resume grows more suspect

Well I’m actually a Crawford fan and have him and Lomo at one and two kinda of interchangeable on how they do but I’ve no probs with Crawford at the top as despite his opponents it’s how he looked beating em.
If and when he beats Horn that should stop the doubters.

 

Who has he beat to deserve that #1 p4p ranking? He cleared 2 empty divisions.

I would argue otherwise. I think Loma is ahead and a win over Linares would put a big cap between them.

 

That´s a limited way of looking at things. Boxing fans get too hooked up on losses.
Loma lost to Salido but he also beat Russell Jr., Walters and Rigondeaux.
Crawford beat Gamboa and Burns.

 

For sure: GGG, Loma, Canelo and we could make the case for some others, I’m pretty sure. Now, time for you to answer mine

 

Lol I’ve heard that and it’s preposterous as Crawford fought a whole heap of nobodies early on which is fine but how anyone can pick holes in Lomos resume is beyond me as he’s doing something unique since going pro.

 

His resume really isn't that good to be perfectly honest but he's young.

 

Absolutely and I’m not sure why folk can’t just like em both as over the next year or so PFP spot is gonna be contested between those two anyway.
The loss thing is one of Mayweathers awful contributions to boxing as it’s held um many a career who already had a loss on their record,I’m a fan of Crawford but he played the traditional long game in stepping up his opponents whilst Lomo jumped right in and as such one can’t compare and shouldn’t.

Russell Jr and Walters, whoop-dee-doo. Those wins are way overblown. Rigo was ancient and 2 divisions above of his realistic weight. That win means nothing.

Their best wins are about equal, although Crawfords resume is deeper and he doesn't have a loss to an old journeyman. In fact he destroyed a guy who'd just beat Salido with ease.
