Pre-Marquez KTFO Pacquiao v Pre-Golovkin Brook would have been a terrific fight stylistically. Probably Manny on points, but Brook is a world class counter puncher and if Marquez can KO Pacquiao then Brook could easily do the same.

Brook is a world class counterpuncher, but JMM might be the greatest counterpuncher the sport has ever seen. At worst, he's Top 5. And he had 36 rounds of "reading" Pacquiao. Also, dude was juiced to the gills in III and IV. I agree, though. Scintillating fight, but I think Pacquiao wrecks Brook something awful.

Brook is also juiced to the gills. I think it’s a remote possibility that Brook could catch and overconfident Pac.

This. A prime PAC ends Brook on any day and would never take a loss to Salido. People seem to forget that Salido was 36 years old and had already been through wars with Juan Manuel Lopez, a prime Gamboa, and went 12 rounds with a prime Marquez that held a prime PAC to a draw before fighting Loma.

Which makes Salido in your 2nd professional fight one of the most dangerous fights any fighter has taken in decades.

Loma wasn't prime either & that loss* has a huge asterisk attached.

    Be fair.

I thought OS lost that fight. But hey ho..

Well considering how Mayweather vs Pacquiao went, I'd give Rigo (A slightly younger version of the one that fought Loma) a good chance of beating Pacquiao. Other than that, no.

But Brook can go close, I don't think Pacquiao knocks him out. Pacquiao doesn't have GGG's power, and Brook is a tough cookie. We also saw against Rabchenko that he has some very serious, possibly even underrated power, and we know that Brook's shots are accurate, precise, thoughtful shots. I think Brook falls just short of beating a good Pacquiao, but I think it's closer than some people think it is. I'd fancy Pacquiao to win a decent decision, but not a comfortable one. He does have a chance of knocking Pacquiao out if Pacquiao is too aggressive, Brook's power should be respected.

Loma fights like Pacquiao. Loma washed Rigo. Pacquiao KOs Rigo. Rigo has NO ANSWER for speed and workrate.
