Not surprised they didn't come to agreement. According to IBF rules any mandated eliminators where either a ranked 1 or 2 boxers faces a mandated opponent who isn't ranked 1 or 2 the boxer ranked 1 or 2 in this case Pulev gets 75% of the purse.

So with Pulev clearly being the B-side it's in his interest not agree to any terms so he receives 75% of the purse.

Why can't Whyte fight Molina for a title shot?

    Seems fair....

still 75% of a purse bid can easily end up being a smaller purse than 50% of a negotiated deal.

That's pretty harsh. I'm surprised he's maintained his rank given how inactive he's been.

Looking at their ratings they don't have anyone in at number one. Why is that?

As fast car Eddie warned us, it is starting to get complicated up at the top of the heavyweight division.

It might be complicated for him but there are professors and doctors in this country doing far more difficult things than organizing a meeting !

Students want to sit and listen to a professor. The ill go to a doctor and tell them whats wrong with them. Hearn cant get the other side to sit down and listen or tell them anything.

I read that it had been decided that Whyte would have to fight Old Man Ortiz! Ortiz should fight while is is still only 59 years old....................

I suspect Whyte does not opt to go down this route.
