Who would have won if Usyk moved up to HW a few years ago and challenged Wlad?

Honestly, I think Wlad would have KOed him. Usyk's just too small.

I've seen a quick handed southpaw with similar height and reach unable to miss Wlad.

Vlad was a good fighter with power, skills, Usyk is a good fighter, great boxer, skills, but Vlad is so much bigger that I would have to pick Vlad to beat him in his prime......................Usyk would beat Wilder though, for sure!

Wlad's dimensions and technical approach would give Usyk no end of problems. If they were the same size I might pick Usyk, but they're not. Worse, Usyk doesn't really have the power to worry Wlad. Usyk's defence is excellent though and while this would probably give many HW's fits, Wlad has his great jab to fall back on as a points-scorer. I'll take Klitschko in a fairly safe, boring UD.

Yep, but he hit significantly harder, which accounted for the biggest issue.
Though I do believe current Usyk might very well outpoint current (last 3 years) Wlad.

If it's prime vs prime. It'd be a repeat of the Sultan Ibragimov fight I think.

However, if it's prime Usyk vs post 2015 Wladimir Klitschko where Wlad was washed up and practically a shot fighter. I have Usyk winning on points.

The Wladimir Klitschko that fought Bryant Jennings, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua loses on points by decision to Oleksandr Usyk in my opinion.

I always thought prime Wlad would be too big and strong for Usyk.

But apparently Usyk had the better of it when they were sparring, according to Johnny Nelson, so who knows? However, a professional fight is somewhat different to sparring ... so prime for prime I'd take Wlad. Right now I take Usyk though of course.

Usyk would give a very good account of himself before succumbing to the formidable power, size and strength of Wladimir

peak Wlad walks through him. Usyk is less slippery and dangerous than Haye was for one.

Yeah, I also imagine it to look something like the Ibragimov fight. Lots of pawing, feinting, slapping of gloves, followed by the odd jab or right hand. Usyk vs current Joshua or even Fury would be a much more intriguing fight. Usyk vs Wilder would be an absolute schooling.

Fury would easily have beaten the same Wlad that was scared to let his hands go against little Sultan Ibragimov.

The Wlad that fought Jennings is the exact same Wlad that smashed Pulov into a crumpled heap.

Yes, it's why Wilder never fought him.

Wilder was waiting for Wlad to decline.

He didn't decline, so Wilder never fought him.

    Smart man.
