You must have missed the rematch, where a properly trained and motivated Bhop dealt with him easy and stopped him in 6.

Another thing to put in perspective is who else Murray made to go the distance and has he ever been KTFO before or after Golovkin.
There are ways to downplay Golovkins resume, but saying that he stoped Murray “only” in the 11th is not one of them.
    Try harder.

    What I think exactly.

I like how Hopkins' MW opposition is being hyped up like a killer's row now but for years he'd been bashed for having wins over sub standard opposition.

I also like how a few years ago MW was being hyped up as a shark tank (Martinez, Sturm, Geale etc) but the moment GGG shows up and crushes everybody it's bumtastic again. Agendas, much?

So I'm guessing that if GGG was dropped twice by Adama, drew with him, and then beat him in the rematch by KO youd be impressed? Gtfoh.

We both know that wasn't the same Martinez.
He didn't fight Sturm or Martinez so idk how he crushed them or who you're quoting that would call Geale and Sturm a "shark tank". It's completely true that 160 was weak during the first 2/3 of his reign. If he started things off by beating Pirog, it would've done a lot for him but unfortunately that fight didn't come off.

Ok now we are going to bash Canelo for fighting Floyd at a catchweight of 152? Not that he would have beaten Floyd at 154, but he was drained.

I hated the 155 catchweight stuff Canelo did, but the belt was legit. Cotto beat Martinez (who was washed) and Canelo beat Cotto.

Also, Amir Khan fought at MW just like Tito and Oscar did. He was a welterweight who jumped up to 155 lb. catchweight. Tito jumped from WW to LMW then to MW (160). Neither of those 3 were true MW's and you know it. So if Khan beat Canelo, he would have been a true MW? Just like Tito beating Joppy?

My point in all this is none of those guys were accomplished MW's. Hopkins is getting credit based off name then falsely attributing those names to being legit MW's.

You've drifted pretty far from my original point, and I'm not sure what Adama has to do with this.

You think Hopkins struggles with Canelo? Or Jacobs? Please.

Hopkins would 100% struggle with Jacobs. Styles make fights. You are just throwing out hypotheticals.

Do you think Golovkin would struggle with Mercado or Eastmam? We can do this all day. It's stupid.

I think that Hopkins indeed struggles with Canelo and Jacobs. In fact, they might beat him.

But of course Hopkins padded his record with bums so that it'd seem more impressive. 3 fights with Robert Allen? Let's not forget Segundo Mercado's final record: 19-10. If GGG had drawn with him he'd be written off as a failure for the rest of his days.

Furthermore, I like how Golovkin gets stick for fighting a good MW like Vanes as a late replacement, but everybody seems OK with Hopkins fighting the otherwise featherfisted and bumtastic Steve Frank when the Lipsey fight fell through.

Hopkins would beat Jacobs handily. Hopkins is all wrong for Jacobs who is susceptible to slicksters and good counter punchers, it would be Pirog all over again.

GGG would beat Mercado and Eastman, but I think both would be more competitive than the majority of GGGs opponents especially Eastman.
