I think ODH stretched himself too far at 160. Tito got the fight because of the tournament King put together. Both Hops and Tito won, which put them face to face. And for those who remember, Tito was favoured to win that tournament. So, I consider that a good win for Hops.

As far as comparisons go, both Hops and G ruled/rule with an iron fist. Hops out skilled and G just put fools to sleep. If you flip these guys and place their opponents against them, I feel we would still be at the same place we are now. Hops would have the most title defenses and G would have a bunch of consecutive ko's, knocking on the door of Hops record.

Hopkins never fought nobody like Canelo. But then again Golovkin couldn't beat Canelo and was gifted a draw in a fight that G was lit up in.

I disagree. Canelo is a counter punches and I think Jacobs would beat him by decision.

This. I like GGG, but he'd delusional.

    GGG's best wins

    Daniel Jacobs
Former WBA champ and knocked out Quillin. A good win for GGG, but it's also important to remember that Pirog easily schoole Jacobs for several rounds before knocking him out.

    Daniel Geale
Former long time IBF champ. A good win for GGG, however just a year before the GGG fight Geale lost his title to Darren Barker, who later that year was knocked out by Strum.

    David Lemieux
IBF champ. Not as good a win as Geale or Jacobs. Beating N'Dam was a good win for Lemieux, but that's the only win he has that matters. Also, he was easily knocked out by Rubio.

    Kell Brook
IBF champ at 147 that fought GGG on short notice. GGG didn't even give Brook a catchweight. GGG deserves very little credit for this win, but with that said Brook is still a better win than Wade, Stevens, Ishida, and Murray.

    Hopkins best wins at 160

    Felix Trinidad
WBA champ and undefeated with a record of 40-0 with wins over an undefeated Oscar De La Hoya, David Reid, and Pernell Whitaker. Former champion at both 147 & 154. Great win for Hopkins.

    Oscar De La Hoya
WBO champ. Had wins over Mayorga, Vargas, Strum, Gatti, Pernell Whitaker, Julio Cesar Chavez, and Camacho. Former 135, 140, 147, and 154 champ. Great win for Hopkins.

    William Joppy
Former WBA Champ. Good win for Hopkins, but Joppy was knocked out two years before and lost his title to Trinidad.

    Keith Holmes
WBC Champ. Good win for Hopkins. Holmes also knocked out Robert McCracken, who was 33-0 and went on to train future champion Froch and Joshua.

Jacobs and Alvarez couldn't beat Golovkin, yet a gatekeeper like Howard Eastman would. Tell me, how is it possible to be such a moron?

    1) Ummmm.....no? Jacobs was beating Pirog lol.

    2) Barker dislocated his hip and his career ended because of it.

    3) I love how you fail to mention Tito only had 1 fight at MW before Hopkins. Yet you have no problem bringing up how Kell Brook was a blown up WW. You're acting like Tito was a killer at MW. He did his damage at WW and LMW.

    4) Oscar lost to Sturm convincingly. That was one of the most clear cases of highway robbery in boxing history because everyone before the fight knew if it went to decision, they weren't going to spoil Hopkins-Oscar. He promptly went on to be KO'd by Hopkins because everyone knew Oscar didn't belong at that weight class. Whittaker was also a BS decision.

 Guys like Rubio, Wade, Monroe, Stevens, Ouma, Lemieux etc wouldn't have been **** back then. Hopkins at least had some real blue collar contenders to fight, and I doubt Golovkin would be undefeated, fighting those guys on those nights that Hopkins fought them.

Imagine what a 32-37 year old Hopkins would do to Canelo and Jacobs, let alone what he would do to Golovkin.
