Horn isn't good. He was supposed to be a tune up for Pacquiao. We all saw Pac get jobbed on the card's. It won't add much of anything to Crawford's resume.

Crawford is yet to participate in a real 50/50 fight after 32 bouts.

This is no different to Deontay Wilder's record before he took Ortiz apart. And we all know how much criticise he receives even to this very day.

I dare anyone to challenge this argument and point to me what opponents Crawford has fought, that stood a single chance against him?

No it won't be possible, because every single freak show fight he's been apart of where he's three times the size of his opponent, undoubtedly he's suppose to win. Every single time.

    Nothing but glorified exhibition bouts.

It was the same with Mr T! Overrated. If Mr T was from scunthorpe & had a blonde perm they'd be scoffing but because he wore gold chains & ain't getting on no plane he's p4p #1! Now drink this milk BA...

Still for his first fight at Welterweight it’s a good start as he will have belt to bargain with,I fully expect him to fight Spence actually

No and just to be clear I don’t hate Crawford,I’m a fan of him as I appreciate the skill he has but that shouldn’t mean I can’t comment on something that I don’t like.
No it’s not illegal and like you say he’s one of many doing it,look at Hurd making 154;Kelli Brook when he was at Welter and Canelo the ultimate weight cutter, just seeing someone do that to their body just to compete in a division way below his weight doesn’t sit right with me but at least unlike Canelo he never tried to hide it or not show his fight night weight.
There’s also a thought shared by Paulie M that extreme weight cutting like this is only possible nowadays due to PEDs which is why we have more folk jumping through divisions.

Thing is he’s gonna all the plaudits for winning at Welterweight when infact its where he should be anyway as Crawford isn’t small.

Can’t argue with that,I’ll bet his highest percentage was 70/30 and that’s being generous to Postal.
I’ve no problem with it either as he’s done what he’s supposed to but don’t you find it funny how folk call Golovkin for doing the same, beating those he should in his division for years and yet theyed not think of calling Crawford for it lol.

Yeah, he beat Russell and actually I thought that Russell would win that fight. I really didn't have any information on Loma at that time. I didn't know how extensive his resume was and I hadn't really seen him fight. Russell was actually overmatched, physically and mentally. However, he didn't have to move up for Russell and in fact was larger than him so it doesn't equate for me that a Russell win is on par with a win over Spence or Thurman for Crawford.

Why fight Horn, Horn was beaten easily by Pac! This is a set-up fight, boxing is corrupt! Horn has no business fighting a top ten fighter..................

Did he abide by the rules? Then shut the hell up. Enjoy Crawford continuing to win and now he will be closer to the weight YOU have decided he should be at. But I am sure you will find something else to ***** about, you always do.

I meant in terms of top level talent. In my opinion Russell is more talented than Thurman is, and if he was more active, he would definitely be considered a top pound for pound guy. I get you on the size thing though. If Russell Jr. was a 5'7 130 pounder, instead of a featherweight midget the fight likely plays out differently.

I agree. He won't be in that type of fight unless he faces, Porter, Thurman, Spence etc, or maybe Prograis in a year or two. I think a guy like Jamal James would give him more issues than Horn will.

Sure you are not breaking any rules by carving out a career fighting small little men. But then should we give them credit for such feats?

Imagine if Wladimir, tyson fury or Joshua drained themselves down to fight middleweights before rehydrating themselves up to their natural heavy weight. Sure they wouldn't be breaking any rules, we'd be witnessing freak shows.

Really and truly, Crawford should have this as his walk out song, accompanied by a ringmaster introducing the bout to the audience

''ladies and gentlemen are you ready to witness the 170lb rehydrated speciman of a man who is a long standing professional boxer , take on a 5'5 130lb fighter who has only just began boxing and doesn't stand a chance? get ready to witness to the bizzare, sadism and pain ''.
