    So what? If they aren't ready for the next level, they aren't ready. I'd rather have a fighter decline a title shot rather then if they win one, STILL say they aren't ready for the top guys and refuse unification bouts.

    People need to remember that the Lomachenko/Usyk/Joshua route isn't the rule......it's the exception.

    Wilder said he "wasn't ready" for the supposed 'Old man' Klitschko after 30+ fights.
    The Charlo's have had near 30 fights each, but have yet to face a legitimate world champion.


    European fighters generally don't fight 30 bums before stepping up, so Yarde will step up at some point....but right now, he gets KO'd.

    Smart move as he would get flattened. But the thing is, I'm pretty sure 2 months down the line they go back hyping him like the 2nd coming of RJJ again.
    I just hope they can find Artur an opponent who doesn't cr_p his pants when his name is mentioned.

    I understand him ducking Beterbiev
    I don't understand or respect him ducking firstly Burton and now Johnson
    record being padded with eastern european journeymen.
    Their excuse is his lack of amateur experience which is all fine and well, but then don't go around pretending to be a lion when you're not willing to put it on the line.
