Seansuree Moonsuree vs. Omar Leroy Estrada Avila & Panya Pradabsri vs. Melianus Mirin RBR

If this is your first time seeing Mirin (which it probably would be if you don't catch lots of these early morning Thai cards), he fought unbeaten prospect Tanawat Nakoon aka Satanmuanglek CP Freshmart last time out and ran him DAMN close. The way Pradabsri is toying with him today in comparison is actually very impressive putting that context in mind.

 

Round 4

Pradabsri is eliciting oohs and ahhs from the crowd with his quick pot shot handiwork, using lateral movement to keep scoring with the jab on the face and spearing blows & uppercuts on the body. Mirin is game, soaking it all up and biding his time for his chances, getting in some nice left hooks on the hip and just barely missing a few headhunting combos, leading with a left hook and bowling in an overhand right that clatter off the backs of Pradabsri's forearms to skid off the sides of the head. Pradabsri dancing around, cranking that dial in the middle of the ring, even scores a check hook.

Round 5

Pradabsri is scoring with both hands past the Mirin jab, able to get off 3-pieces (winding up a fourth punch) in the span of time Mirin is able to prod and recoil. Mirin is starting to press forward and fight with more desperate urgency, hurling big rights over the shoulder and hooking off the stiff jab reaching in. Pradabsri is just turning him (sometimes quite literally placing a hand on the arm or shoulder to brace and reposition) and dusting him with light counters.

I don't really need to see this little fruitcake with the faux-punk red-dyed hair noshing on hotdogs until he bites his thumb off anymore, Channel 7. Variety is the spice of life, guys; surely other companies have purchased time and provided different ads you can run..
