Do boxers lift weights? I’m assuming low weight high reps?

I would think too much wouldn’t be good right? Too much mass can effect stamina and speed I believe.

Yes, it can affect it positively. Which is why every serious athlete lifts heavy weight. Lifting heavy isn’t the equivalent to gaining muscle mass, volume load is the main determinant from the training side, and what you eat makes 90% of the difference.

Every boxer trains different!! Some Killer boxers don't lift big weights

but yeah Many Elite Pros do max out lifts (high weight, low rep). Cardio is really the most important though.
Big muscles require more oxygen! Every boxer is different from AM to Pro

    Lifting tightens tendons
For boxing you want loose tendons
More speed and snap on punches

I didn't get that little baby by lifting ladies dumbbells. And yes, she supplies me with plenty of power and speed too. Think an orthodox version of a prime Corrie Sanders.

What recoils with more force/speed, a thick stiff rubber band or a thin compliant rubber band? What requires a smaller amount of stretch for the same power output?
Why is it that there is an overwhelming amount of empirical evidence showing that thick tendons are beneficial for sprinting speed? Why is there overwhelming evidence that stiffening tendons improves running economy/efficiency in endurance athletes?

 I wish. That said, a nice set of guns are some of the best ***** magnets (* = another word for a cat and also the female genitalia) a man can possess.

AJ was lifting cars in the park until he realized it slowed him down as the body depleted in a fight
They must have also been aware of this anyway on road work and other cardo work
